Our trip to and from Montreal was seamless. We are a family of 5, and were so well attended to. My daughter forgot her purse on the train coming home and we were called promptly and were able to retrieve it, after hours, with the help of some very eager to help VIA attendants. Thank you to all!

If you're traveling business class and visiting the Lounge, you'll be treated to some of the 'funniest' staff at the front desk. I've waited in the lounge dozens of times and they are the most cheerful staff I've come across.

Great to buy on black Friday or regular Tuesday deal price. the train is nice and spacious, the staff are really nice and friendly. Washroom is clean. No delays they board usually 10 mins before departure

Great service, great rail pass options for frequent travellers, better on-board purchase menu than the airlines, and a decent schedule to allow for good travel between Toronto and Montreal.

Newly refreshed trains are nicely equipped with charging plugs at every seat. Onboard cafe offers a small selection of food, may be best to grab something beforehand. Quirk on the website shows Seats available but won't let you book them if the same seat isn't available for entire route however website lets you enter credit card info then comes back saying error has occurred.
