Friday Outing Cancellation Notice: Due to the fact that school board buses are canceled, the family well being Friday outing to the farm is canceled. We will reschedule for another day - enjoy our first snow day everyone!

Art & Music - We will be running Art & Music Night tonight at 1071 Richmond Road from 5-8pm however due to the snow advisory by Environment Canada we may have to close early so staff, volunteers and community can get home safely. See you tonight!

Tungasuvvingat Inuit in partnership with Smartsaver will be offering interested community members help with registering their children for Canada Learning Bond on: • Nov. 14th between 1-4 PM during foodbank hours at 297 Savard Ave.
• Nov. 15th between 11-2 PM at our Community Lunch at 320 Olmstead St, in Vanier.
70% of jobs today require post-secondary education but sending your child to study could be expensive. Here are two things you could do NOW to help your child reach that brighter future (that won’t cost you a dime): 1. Claim your child’s Canada Learning Bond (CLB) - a federal grant of $500 to $2000 to eligible families to help with the cost of a child’s education after high school. 2. Participate in this pilot – an opportunity of $500 from SmartSAVER to eligible families.
Who is it for? • Child/children: o Born on or after January 1, 2004. o Has a Social Insurance Number. o Doesn’t already have a Registered Education Saving Plan (RESP)
• Parent (Primary Caregiver): o Annual net family income under $46,000. o Has a Social Insurance Number. o Has filed taxes (at least 1 year of child’s life). For more information or to start your application contact anyone below:
