I didn’t want to have my wedding anywhere else but John Michaels! Since the very first wedding I went to at John Michaels I had this hall picked out, for when I would one day get married! Everything was absolutely amazing! Vince, Rob and Tellie truly treat you like family and make everything run so flawless. As a bride there are so many details to stress about but I wasnt stressed about our decision to have John Michaels host the biggest party of our lives! The experience was 100% beyond our expectations and they definitely accommodated our every wish for the evening. Thank you Vince, Rob and Tellie for making my dreams come true and helping create a night Tom and I will never forget! I cant say enough good things about John Michaels!

This is the place to be for your events. The owners Vince and Rob are a good team two brother-in-laws working together to get it done.
Vince who is a high end certified chef took care of the food venue and his partner in crime Robwith his hospitality experience took care of the floor venue together they created our family event and just like that we became family.
As with any wedding its a year of havoc. Everything comes down to the big day and when something goes wrong it seems that everything goes wrong. As the father of the bride I wanted everything to go smooth for my daughter and yes my son in law too.
Vince saw my anxiety and pulled me aside and poured me a drink of Campari and reassured me that everything will work out. From there both Vince and Rob took the reins and made sure that everything was just as it should be for our 5:00 pm start. Even going the extra mile and contacting vendors associated with our event reminder them of our start time.
From the meal to the service from the décor to the music everything was perfect. I personally visited each table and there wasn't a single issue which speaks volumes to this place.
Thank You both Vince and Rob for creating memories for my daughter and son in law and for making our son in laws family from Hamilton feel welcome. Thank You for your love and friendship.

Vince and his amazing team have hosted our Royal LePage Niagara team over 15 times.
The Anti Pasto bar is mind blowing.
Dinner is always amazing.
The service spectacular.
Always accommodating to create the most amazing experiences for our team!
We'll be back.

Went to this hall for a bridal shower (Laura) on June 25/17. I was so impressed with the food presentation. Everything that was supposed to be served hot was served hot.
Antipasto was served family style at each table. Seafood platter, boccancini platter, savoury platter included pickled artichokes, pickled eggplant, spicy green olives and the meat platter that included prosciutto and salami.
Second course was a pasta dish. The pasta was gemelli (twisted pasta)served with a delicious tomato sauce that wasn't watery. The gemelli pasta held the sauce well. Pasta was perfectly el dente.
Third course was a chicken leg wrapped in bacon, with crispy skin and so tender and juicy inside. It was served with grilled peppers and mushroom risotto.
Everything was top notch and staff were friendly and approachable.��response / report this review -

Bridal shower was perfection. Everything that was served was wonderful and everyone liked the food. Excellent service as well.
Wedding reception was excellent. Service was great. Antipasto bar is definitely the best in the area (have been to a number of weddings in the area but the Antipasto bar doesn't compare to JMs). Only concerns were that wedding cake was not served to each guest as requested, only at sweet table and after the wedding guests complained they did not receive wedding cake. In addition, we wish we did not have the fish entrée due to guest feedback. Overall, we were very pleased with our wedding at JMs.response / report this review -

Absolutely the best food and service I have ever had at a banquet hall. Vince and his staff have a wonderful venue he should be very proud of. The Daniele event was excellent! Cannot wait for the next one.

JMs tops it all! I've been to many halls before, but no one does it like these wonderful people. My brother just had his wedding there on Saturday, I must say everything was spot on. Thank you to the JM team for doing such a great job!

I have been going here for years. This is by far the absolute best place for a wedding or any celebration in the entire area. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. If I could rate it higher, I would hands down.

Perfection! Everything ran so smoothly i couldn't believe it. Staff were so sweet and attentive and the food was UNBELIEVABLE !! I didnt have one worry all night they took care of everything. Loved every minute of our wedding reception ❤
