  I was really happy with the service I received. I put in a request and heard back almost immediately and a locksmith (Dyllan) was able to come the next day to repair our front door lock. Now, it works well again and we can properly use our front door. Dyllan arrived on time and resolved the issue quickly and completely.

  Would give more than five stars if I could. Booked my appointment online and received instant confirmation by email and text. Asked Ken if I could book an early morning appointment, which he was very accommodating to do for me. Ken was so prompt and helpful in answering all my inquiries. Received a text to inform me when the technician was on the way. My technician Josh was courteous, friendly and so efficient. A great experience from beginning to end. Will highly recommend Tru-Max to anyone in need of your services and will definitely call you if needed again.

  Excellent experience. Answered the phone!!! LoL Booked a service with a quote. Josh confirmed appointment. Arrived promptly, quickly rekeyed a deadbolt lock where we didn't have a key & provided 3 extra new keys. Price exactly as quoted. Professional, punctual, courteous, fast & efficient. 100% recommended 5 Stars.

  We had a Schlage keyless entry door handle and deadbolt installed by Trumax. We received a quote on the phone and the final price was exactly as quoted. Josh Manser the locksmith was excellent and did a great job with the installation. I would highly recommend this company for locksmith services and I will certainly use them in the future.

  Multiple issues with Tru-Max. I needed a new deadbolt, lever handle, and door closer installed on my front door. Josh assured me their prices were lower than retail and I took him at his word. However, when I received the quote, they were $150 higher - about 30% over retail for the door hardware. This caused inconvenience in scrambling to obtain the parts last-minute. Why did he tell me their prices would be lower than retail when they actually weren’t? Then Josh said he couldn’t get the deadbolt I’d bought to work, so sold me the identical one from his truck for $70 more. (He said “this never happens.”) I’m wondering why he couldn’t get the one I had bought for less to work as he said he’s installed many of these. The door closer he’d brought had a part missing (he again said “this never happens”) so he couldn’t install it the same visit and had to return for an additional charge. I asked the company to order a matching door closer to the other parts but no one ever responded. I began to assume I’d been forgotten about. Then almost 3 weeks later, he told me it was in stock and he came to install it. He must have measured wrong and drilled 2 holes in my door frame in the wrong spot. He patched them with a compound that doesn’t match the door. He didn’t disclose this error to me at any point. He also chipped the finish on the new door closer in several spots and didn’t mention this either. I paid full price and only noticed the damage after he left. Both visits, he left black smears on the door and frame. I’ve hired several locksmiths in my lifetime and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I’m very disappointed that my door and new hardware were damaged and nothing was said. Total cost was over $1000 for 2 items and 2 visits to install 3 items (I purchased the handle separately for another $200 as their cost was much higher for the same item). I brought these issues to the company and Ken’s response was “thank you for bringing the dirty door to our attention, he should have cleaned that” with no offer to fix anything. Only when I pushed for a solution, they said they can order another door closer without damage but it will take 6 months. I would personally be much more careful installing a part when there’s a 6 month wait for a replacement. They’ve said (again, only with prompting from me) that they’ll send someone out to look at the damage to the door. They’ve not made any suggestions to fix the problem - I’ve had to do that. The entire experience was disappointing and the customer service from Ken in rectifying the problem is basically nonexistent.
