  Disappointed, walked in 40 minutes before closing and the barista told me they have cleaned the machine and only coffee available would be a drip. Hard to support local businesses when they won’t sell to me.

  My husband and I were there Friday night and the treatment we received from one of the baristas was just not what we're used to at Trees Organic. We live only a couple of blocks away, so we were there at the grand opening and we're frequently in for some coffee or the occasional slice of cheesecake. So, on Friday we came in at 8:45pm (15 minutes before closing) and there were around 6 or 7 people still inside either eating, talking or using their computers.
  
  We ordered a double espresso and a slice of cheesecake and to our surprise, the woman that served us said we couldn't eat in because she'd be closing soon. I told her 15 minutes would be enough time for us to eat (we were sharing the cheesecake), to which she replied she'd be "closing in 5 minutes" and all orders from then on would have to be take outs. Well, I thought the store closed at 9pm, not 8:50pm! At that point we were already pretty frustrated as we had both had a pretty long day and just wanted to enjoy a little Friday evening treat. So I told her "Ok, fine. We'll just take it to go". We left at around 8:53 and all of the customers who were inside when we came in were still there, finishing up their food and drinks, but we had to leave to drink our coffee and eat our cake on the street while walking home. We were also left wondering what happened to the size of your cheesecake slices. They've shrunk down to pretty much 2/3 of what they used to be. Or maybe we were just unlucky.
  
  
  
  Going to trees organic used to be a pleasant experience for us, but we most likely won't be coming back to this location as its new staff doesn't seem to align with the company's values (at least what we thought Trees Organic's values were) or understand what providing good customer service means.
  
  Very disappointed.

  Loved it! Had to do battle with my girlfriend for a bite of the cheesecake we were to share. It's sooooo good!
