Nice cozy quiet hotel great for staying at. Staff are friendly , beds are super comfy and rooms arw kept very clean. I would definitely stay here again in the future
Not our usual Courtenay stop, but it worked. The front desk staff were very accomodating, helpful and pleasant. The room. clean, neat and more spacious than I expected. Bed.. super comfy. .bathroom a bit small, but that is the only downside.
Decent enough hotel. The rooms a bit dated but the place is in good repair and presents well. Beds and linens are good. Close to everything Courtenay has to offer.
Very nice staff, I liked the breakfast (good hours for it and they had hot chocolate and raspberry muffins). Noisy Neighbours but that could happen anywhere. The outdoor pool was great, and warm but not gross-warm. My only complaint is that the rooms were a little dim unless you turned ALL the lights on and opened the blinds. It was nice in the evenings but annoying during the day
Rooms are awfully outdated, beds are not particularly comfortable, washrooms are kinda gross. Lady at the front desk was pretty helpful/friendly though
I stayed for 2 nights with my 2 dogs. The area itself was kinda noisy but that's too be expected being in such a prime location. There is a nice grassy area I could walk the dogs on and around the whole hotel (unlike other hotels with a tiny little patch of grass). The lady at the front desk was awesome and we really enjoyed staying there. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in town.
Decent rooms but there are rock-hard beds and we found silverfish in the bathroom.
I ended up living here for a couple of weeks when I moved to town to work at the ski hill. Staff were very friendly and helpful to me which I greatly appreciated as a Brit in a new country. Doesn't look much from the outside but the rooms are actually really nice inside and you have a lot of services right on your doorstep.
Travel Lodge Courtenay was a great place to stay, but the rates could be better. A group of us stayed there and found the staff to be very friendly other the 1 female who was the executive house keeper. You dare not bother her when she was having her smoke which seemed to be all the time nor did you want to hear the language that was coming out of her mouth. I would never bring my family there nor refer anyone with children to go there. One bad apple spoils it for everyone.
