The room was clean but that was pretty much the only good thing about this place. It was pretty ghetto for what you're paying. The room was so hot it was like a sauna, the window was broken so hello fire hazard. The bathroom was tiny and the breakfast was terrible. All they had was a cold breakfast and when my husband cut into his boiled egg it was green. Eew. Would not stay here again.

The place is a little grungy. The view out the window was the roof and equipment. Their continental breakfast setup was less than basic not even having knives to cut a bagel or butter bread.

Cramped bathroom, poor layout of wiring in rooms. Fuses cannot handle toaster for breakfast. Very nice front desk staff. Cordial, helpful.

Restaurant has an incredibly cheap menu, that's actually fairly good. Wing Wednesdays are my favorite time; 35 cent Wings. Can't go wrong.

Called ahead of time to ask about deposit and they informed us on the phone that it was $100 cash or credit which is what it also states online. When we showed up they charged us $300 for the deposit saying "They didnt know who you were on the phone". We even showed them their policy stating online that it was $100 but they said it was $300. Total scam. We've never had to pay that much, even downtown and considering we're paying for the hotel, it shouldn't matter who we are. When we get to our room the door didn't close fully, you had to pull it hard to slam it shut and even then it would open eventually so we used the latch. We woke up in the morning to find the door had opened up overnight but the latch had stopped it from opening fully. When we tried turning on the ceiling light, it didn't work so we could only use the bedside lamps, leaving our room rather dark. The walls were so thin we could hear everything our neighbours were saying and playing on tv all night and all morning, it was quite unsettling and not private at all. The hot water also didn't work, it was lukewarm at best so having a shower is a no unless you don't mind it. Also they say its complimentary breakfast but we didn't get or see anything at all. To top it all off, the place is run down, not anything like the photos they posted or described which is quite disappointing. Not even worth the $100 we paid for the night imo. When we arrived we couldn't believe that it was the place, we even drove by a few times. I'd spend your money at the Sandman, they have always been good to us but we just wanted to try somewhere else for once. I will never ever stay at a Travelodge for as long as I live.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Do not go to this hotel. This is appalling. Richard, the "manager" was horrible! Not once have I EVER been treated so poorly! I cannot believe someone in hospitality can yell at customers like that. If I could give zero stars then I would.

If I could give this zero stars I would.. absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager had ZERO respect for us and actually yelled at us when we're were trying to check in and the room was $30 more than the online confirmation we were given. Unbelievable. I can't believe that this is someone who works in hospitality. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Will never stay there.
