The statistic at Trapped! goes something like this: Roughly 90% of our participants survive. That’s quite good. You can see why these groups are ecstatic! The Diamond Heist started out really strong, and I mean, even the waiting room/lobby was very pretty and the 2 girls working there were super nice. I went with in my friend who had never been to an escape room before, so we were ready for some puzzles! Upon entering the room, the first obstacle was SUPER COOL. Like, I may be a simpleton, but that was easily the flashiest part. All of the decorations were beautiful and helped to aid to the setting of “a millionaire’s gallery”. In total there weren’t too many puzzles in number, I think what was there was just okay. Though we didn’t finish (even though we were given time to do the last puzzle, we were kinda just tired and I was hungry and wanted to go) , it was still a good time. While it doesn’t say in the description, I would highly highly recommend bringing a musically inclined friend.

We completed Claustrophobia last night. Some of us in the group have been to other rooms. It was well executed and I enjoyed the theme of it. We managed to escape with just over 8 minutes left.

I love escape rooms! We did the diamond heist and it was a REALLY good room.. a few of the clues were broken and not doing what it was supposed to which slowed our time down (we were on the right track but felt we weren't because of the placement of things).. All in all however VERY well thought out and very challenging (in a great way!). Please fix the obvious bugs (already spoke to you about) in the room as it is difficult already without being thrown off course from it.

My friends and I finished the diamond heist in 22 minutes. It was a letdown.

We have done few of them before and they all required us to think.

Even though the laser room was pretty cool it feels like it was all a smoke show to cover the fact that it was not intricate at all

This was my first escape room so I honestly didn't know what to expect!!! We did claustrophobic, which was challenging but not impossible. Thankfully I was with people who knew what to look for and had a better idea, cause we made it out with 4.5min to spare! Thanks for popping my escape room cherry, Trapped!!!! Lolllll

I solved two of their rooms, Pandemic (good beginner room) and Claustrophobia (challenging depending on team).

Both rooms exceeded my expectations for a downtown location. The rooms were very comfortably sized with good air circulation (~300 sq ft single room), tons of details in the decor of the rooms and all the puzzles were closely tied with the narrative of the room which was great.

A unique aspect of this place is that there's a video intro that goes through basic rules as well as a 'cinematic' to get you into the mood and narrative of the room. This was done incredibly professionally and helped get all the players in the right mindset.

The only 'downer' is the final puzzle reveals a regular looking key to get out of the room. A bit anticlimactic but a welcome sight for many after 45 minutes of puzzle solving!

The owners are very clearly passionate about game design and ensuring a good experience for all players. A Trapped, this saying rings true, "It's not the size that matters, but what you do with it."

All my friends loved the experience and we'll definitely be back for the Diamond Heist and your 'mysterious' 4th room you're designing.

Really great! One of my absolute favorites. I'm not a particular fan of scary rooms and these ones were. I love escape games a lot, so they actually offered to set it up a little less scary so I can enjoy my time more there. The three of us did Claustrophobia together and it was super fun! It was definitely more unique and a very well thought out room. The staff was super friendly as well. My only recommendation is one of the clues was kind of time consuming near the end and I think could have visually been simplified, especially for those who are not too familiar with Toronto. Otherwise, it was awesome. Thanks for a great time!

I took my team here to try out Trapped! as it was highly rated online. It definitely did not disappoint. We divided ourselves over three of the themed rooms that they have there: Pandemic, Claustrophobia and Diamond Heist. Every group loved their rooms and we managed to actually squeeze in a second game where we all rotated rooms. Great team building event, great staff, and I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for an escape room in the city. Will be taking my family here soon to try the third room.

My two sons and I went today just for something to do. Wow, were we ever impressed. It was so well set up, the clues were cleverly thought out but we managed to solved the Claustrophobia room. We will be back for sure to do the other two rooms! What a great afternoon.

Absolutely loved my experience at trapped! i played the room "Claustrophobia" with a group of friends and the puzzles were so engaging and a lot more intricate than I expected. The room required a lot of communication and teamwork which strongly engaged all of us as a team. Plus the staff there are incredibly kind and chill, super helpful! will definitely be back soon to play diamond heist :)

We only tried out one room here recently, but I can definitely say it's better than the other escape-themed establishments I've tried. I could tell a lot of time was put into painstakingly creating the rooms. I immediately noticed the production value of the room was very high, with interactive puzzles that weren't your average run-of-the-mill brainteasers/math riddles (like the other places do). Overall, a great immersive experience, and a lot of fun!

Had an amazing time here!! The puzzles are extremely well thought out and flow very logically. I have been to other escape game rooms where the puzzles are either too random, too easy or too hard. Trapped did an amazing job in balancing the difficulty and and most importantly there is a seamless flow to their puzzles. I would definitely be coming back to try the other rooms. Excellent job to the Trapped crew!!

If you want to have a great time, go to Trapped! You'll be thinking and talking about your experience for days! Just remember not to spoil the games for anyone else. :P :D.

Love this place! The scenarios are completely different from the other escape places. The scenarios are so realistic my best friend got so scared and slept with her lights on at night. Need to come back and make it out next time!
