  What a fantastic venue! Our daughter recently had her 8th birthday party here and we honestly couldn't have wanted for anything. The organization was great, the teachers at the party were wonderful and all of our ideas were incorporated in to the theme. Cost wise, you cant ask for more! Would highly recommend.

  My whole family loves Luminous Elephant. We hosted my daughter's 12th birthday at Luminous Elephant and it was a big hit with all of the girls - and tween girls aren't always the easiest to please!
  
  Plus, I've taken a number of photography classes and recently a terrific Squarespace Web design class. I highly recommend Luminous Elephant for the young and the young at heart.

  The Luminous Elephant is a truly special place and Maddie is a gifted teacher who encourages and supports creativity and joy. I am always amazed by what my kids produce in her classes - illustrated books, gorgeous photography, insightful paintings. They love any and all classes at the Elephant!

  Our daughter has been attending Luminous Elephant since its inception. Maddie has a gift at helping bring out a child's innate creativity and self-exploration. We have recommended Luminous Elephant to our friends and family. A very special place indeed!

  Luminous Studio is an amazing art studio!
  It encompasses a creative, whimsical and friendly environment. My whole family enjoys taking classes there. The teachers are energetic and passionate in their instruction.
  My kids and myself are expanding and growing artistically with each class.
  It's a wonderful place to be:)

  The tagline "this is one of the happiest places around" couldn't be more true! I love the new Luminous Elephant studio next to Granville Island, it's very modern yet cozy and filled with creative vibes and it's owner's - Madelyn's - beautiful spirit. I have taken adult painting classes here and they are about so much more than learning how to apply brush strokes or mix colors: Madelyn's classes are a spiritual journey that leave you feeling seen, heard and held. And happy :)
