It is with great sadness we let you know that Marcia Chen, a long-time employee of the Faculty, passed away peacefully this past Saturday morning, August 15, 2015.
She was the Administrative Assistant of the former Professional Learning Centre (later the iSchool Institute), and was known as a one-woman force of nature, handling the financial side, booking registrations, liaising with students – she did it all, and with a friendly smile and good sense of humour.
Viewing will be held this coming Saturday, August 22, at 9:30 am, followed by a service. Chapel Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation http://www.chapelridgefh.com/ 8911 Woodbine Ave (just north of Highway 7), Markham, Ontario
Flowers can be sent to the funeral home, or donations can be made to the Cancer Society in memory of Marcia.
