SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TELEMARKETING CALLS FROM AN AUTOMATED RECORDED MESSAGE!
I received a call from The Brick in the middle of afternoon while putting my baby to sleep. When i picked it up it was NOT a person. It was a long pre-recorded message about upcoming sales and promotions!
If you value your personal information do not do business with the brick! They are sleazy businesses people and not a good corporate citizen.
Read their privacy policy! Just by making a purchase they will automatically add you to their marketing list without your knowledge and ROBOCALL you at their convenience.
Poor marketing philosophy. Poor judgement. They are Leaches of society profiting by imposing their self serving marketing messages on your personal cellphone at the expense of your personal time. Do NOT buy from them cause they will reward you with robo calls!
Just look at their customer ratings and you will know why they are not to be trusted. low class salesmanship. No pride in their brand. No respect for your privacy.
imagine a world where all businesses you shop at will call you in the middle of the day unannounced with promotional recordings! The brick is leading that charge! Good job marketing geniuses.
when requesting the privacy officer to call me back they ignored it because that's just the type of company they are.
it's easy to get on their list but hard to get off of it. your requests will be ignored. Stop while you are still ahead! don't buy from them! you would be sponsoring telephone terrorism. Your personal info will be held hostage.
Had a fridge delivered. It was damaged. No refund, no replacement. They will not even answer my emails. Will never buy from them again. Have to contact BBB. They do not deserve the 1 star I am forced to put there.
NO return policy. NO money back. NO store credit. I rather give this place a 0 star but i have to pick one. Spent $400 on a tv mount stand, took it home and realized it doesn't work for my place and wanted a return. The sales person tried to help and I asked politely to speak to the manger. Whoever it was didn't even bother to come out to address my issue or even care. He/she hid inside the office and told the sales person to handle my complaint. I admit they have nice things there, but its not worth the trouble after purchase in case it doesn't work out. I rather spend my money elsewhere where they is a chance of money back or at least store credit.
The Brick is a pretty famous furniture store. They also include appliances and electronics in their offering and have a specialty in mattresses. Service staff can be a little pushy but overall are quite friendly. Their customer information collection process is a little boggling, just ask for the information instead of suggesting I be a VIP buyer.
They have a lot of options so you will likely find some combination of stuff that you need. Their delivery system is excellent, and they have a contract with local assemblers if you don't want to do any of the set up, or staging.
Parking is readily available, but they are not on major bus routes.
Ordered a couch thinking we were getting a "don't pay for so many months with no interest" and double checked with the salesperson to make sure we were signing up for said deal. Even told us we should save so much money a month to be able to pay at the end of the term. Turned out we were put on a fixed payment plan for 19 months. Definitely felt scammed, as we specifically bought it thinking we would be paying later (recently moved and wanted to settle in without having extra bills). Not going there again. Just a warning to read before signing because they'll say anything you want to hear just to make a few bucks.
I was very pleased with the service at the Richmond, BC location. I did not find the salespeople pushy at all. No following you around, and stalking you. They just said hello let me know they were there if I needed help and left me alone - Perfect! We decided to buy a sofa set, but within a week before it was delivered we changed our minds. Very easy refund process and very gracious customer service. We ultimately found our sofa elsewhere, but would not hesitate to deal with The Brick in the future.
This is not our local store but we were passing and dropped in. OMG we were hounded from the moment we went through the door. We were followed and if we stopped to look at something a sales person pounced. We explained several times we had just dropped in just to look and see if there was anything we liked. In the end we started to divert to where we wanted to go to try and shake off a salesmen. Good grief The Brick Richmond read your customer. Some like the full on approach others prefer the from a distance approach. You guys practically chased us out of the store. Our next stop was Marshalls and at one point we were convinced one of your sales staff was following us around there. Never again. If it wasn't such a waste of our time it would of been funny.
I deeply regret not reading the honest reviews here before going in to this rat hole. This is the most insidious retails I've came across in a decade. The sales were super patient and friendly when we went their to check out a pair of dyer and washer. Well, it turns out that was all for show, as he gave 0% care AFTER we purchased one of the mid-high end pairs at a discounted price of $3000 and discovered problems he neglected to talk about.
Their staff (including sales, customer service, and store manager) are deceitful, have no honor, and would try their best and hardest to avoid helping you after they take your money. They give false and/or misleading information at all times. Do not trust anything they say. Buy at your own risk, or better, do not go there unless is your absolute last resort.
Spent $2500 on a couch, falls apart, feathers have never stopped coming out, I paid extra for the coverage. They stop selling the replacement couch so they couldn't give me another. Ended up giving me $500 credit after a month of back and forward emails and phone calls. Got a new comforter bed set with it I ordered in from another store. 10pc king size and doesn't even Come with a bed cover for the matterest.(probably my fault but really how does it not come with a mattress cover?) thanks for the 6 random sized pillow cases though. That should be fun finding the right sizes. And of course even though I picked it up today it's final sale. This place is over priced junk and will be the last time I go there. I will never recommend to anyone.
I spent over 10K on furniture and have waited more than 6 weeks and it still hasnt arrived! Completely unacceptable business model. I cant understand how they stay in business based on all the bad reviews they get. I will never buy from them again.
Horrible can't even give half a star. They had to reschedule my Delivery and Installation at the very last minute (every one deserves a 2nd chance right?) and whats worst is that they dont even show up or call on the date of the rescheduled delivery and installation. Literally sat for 5 hours waiting. Here's the real kicker, called the installation person assigned to the job, dude sounded like he was already at home chillin! Hell if I didnt call to ask, my work order probably just sat around floating! just pathetic. PS The BRICK, for the price you are charging people for installation/delivery and the people or company you guys contract to, is just WOW! No words
别买,品质很差。服务不好,售货员骗人!!!
Extremely terrible experience, the salesman named Phang extremely pushy. Never ever deal with him! He keeps calling us daily when we are still deciding and after we finally purchased the items, he totally ignored us when we asked him questions and diverted us to his other colleagues. Really terrible after sales services. We ended up making multiple trips down to resolve issues.
Not only that, he lied to us that we had to assemble the bed ourselves when we spent so much to buy a few whole sets of bedrooms and living room furniture. Luckily we went online and check that assembly is actually provided.
Delivery was a failure as well as they never really call the day before to confirm the delivery. The first batch came down and claim they will not assemble till the mattress is delivered. When the second group came, they said the first group was supposed to assemble hence they only assembled halfway till the third group came and delivered the remaining items also complaint about it. They didn't assemble the living room coffee table and they also not willing to help throw away the boxes after that, only took away the boxes of what they assembled.
What's worse, we found the furniture delivered were faulty, there were huge cracks, hairline cracks, holes, in our furniture.
Extremely poor customer service. I purchased a $2400 mattress. After 4 months a "dip" exceeding 2 inches developed in the center of the bed. After the inspector came to my house and determined that I was entitled to a re-selection, I went to the brick to choose a new mattress. I was treated very poorly by the store manager at the Richmond location after I expressed discontent with paying to have the new mattress shipped (at a cost of over $100). Why should I have to pay the brick to redeem themselves after selling a defective product?
