We wanted to buy a unique gift for a couple who was expecting. As we were leaving Granville Island and heading to the bus, this store caught our attention and we were drawn to it. I found the most beautiful 3 piece elephant set that is one of a kind and hand made in Bangladesh. The lady who was helping us explained to us so much about who made the piece, how they are benefiting from this sale and how the store gives back to those in developing countries. She even printed out a handout that had information about the piece we bought, who made it and its history. She packaged it for us so nicely in a beautiful box, double bagging it and just gave overall great customer service. On top of that- I got the 3 piece elephant set for just a great deal. For something so beautiful, I thought it would be much more expensive. If you are looking to buy a gift for someone, this is the place to go on Granville.

Always wonderful and friendly volunteers working there. Trish, the manager, is helpful and knowledgeable. I love the quality, colours, and creative products you can find there. I've bought many things there for myself and as gifts. And it feels great that you are SUPPORTING an extremely giving organization.

One of my favourite stores, and I feel so lucky to have a location in my area! Everything is so beautiful, but I like the jewelry the best, and this store has become my go to place for jewelry. The prices are, of course, on the pricier side with this being a store of artisan products and whatnot, but I'd say it's more than worth it for the quality and for the support you are then providing for these artisans.

A craft/coffee/tea shop. Very organized and decorated inside. I'm mainly there for their coffee, which is organic and fair-trade. Sometimes they have coffee samples to try at the store and for you to take come.
