Clean and serviceable hotel. No extras, but has good beds and friendly staff. Located just off highway 1 near many services and restaurants. Most importantly, a Starbucks is next door.

Smelly room.
Loud partying in next room on weekday.
Called front desk 3 times.
Past 1 am before the miserable person at the front desk reluctantly did anything about it.

Then after having my sleep deprived like that the front desk person sends me a 6 am wake up call - that I did not ask for!
I guess she likes her revenge on those who complain

Checked in late after a 16 hour drive, our first disappointment was the pool was closed for maintenance. Then our first room had ants all over the bathroom floor. The second room was not much better, the tv was smashed, the shower curtain was torn. The bar holding the shower curtain was falling out of the wall. Everthing was worn. The cleaning was appalling. There was a brown clump on a the wall, the carpet was stained, the mirror had never been cleaned near the top. I really could go on. It was broken, worn, and dirty everywhere. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was average. I will never stay again.

Front desk staff very friendly. Continental breakfast was good. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel dated, lots of stairs, no elevators for people with ambulation issues. Workers were using plastic totes to go from room to room. No wheels or light weight carts? Pool was nice. Good location for road trip.

The room was really nice and clean, the night manager at the desk was very kind and helpful as well. The continental breakfast area was really cute and cozy.

The room was moderately clean and the motel was easy to find. Would have liked it more if the air conditioning worked up to par (was placed in a strange area not providing good air flow). Additionally, it seemed as though a second "business" was operating out of the parking lot and made it feel undesirable to stay with a family. Parking was right outside the room.

The room was ok but very small. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast is adequate. Beds were comfortable - had a room with double & queen. Blankets are thin, so if you are someone who tends to get cold, you would probably have needed to call for more. Computer in lobby, radio, and hot tub were not working.

It was clean but very outdated. Staff was great and the main reason for 3 stars.. I find it overpriced for what it offered.

Not my #1 pick for Medicine Hat but you could do worse.

Very good value, the rooms were very clean and recently modernized, and the fridge and microwave is nice to have. However, each building is wood construction, not concrete, so you can hear all of your neighbors (if someone next door was to cough loudly while it was otherwise quiet in your room, you would hear them). Something to consider especially if you're visiting during a time where there may be a party going on.

The dog room however strongly smelled of carpet shampoo, and would not fade throughout our 3 night stay. It was not unbearable, however it wasn't pleasant to eat in the same room.
