My girlfriend and I stayed over as an impromptu getaway.
It's an absolutely charming spot! We loved the peace and quiet. The owner was very gracious and accommodating!
The breakfast was lovely Home cooked and their jams excellent!
We treated ourselves to massages and facials at the spa I felt quite spoilt! We'll definitely be going back!response / report this review -

Charming & unique experience - Love this B&B. One of a kind beautiful historic building. There is a few great little gems about the place. The building is a beautiful old farmhouse with intricate ornate wood trim, squeaky floorboards and finishes like they just dont make anymore. There is also a great little gazebo, a movie theater downstairs, a ball room, a guest lounge with chess board and a hot tub.
Cons - the place isn't new, the floors squeak and doors don't seal super well and it has old plumbing. This however, is part of the charm for most people. I'd rate it a 4 star facility but a 5 star experience.
As a function center -
The place is even better. All the facilities you get access to make it so worth while. Its a unique experience you just can't find everywhere. Be warned they are a little relaxed about things but found the staff to really come through on the day of a function. Recommended for weddings or family events where you want a group of people to stay together. Maybe even a small work team bonding weekend? It is a bit on the smaller gathering side - the ball room only seating about 60.response / report this review
