Seven tech companies, seven craft breweries. One epic night of community building, fundraising and fun. We ended the year on a high note with Startups and Beer in Waterloo Region. This edition of Startups and Beer was hosted by Axonify, Dejero, Sortable, Miovision, Magnet Forensics, Vidyard and Velocity's Bartesian and MirageVR.
Our November community partner, Kitchener Public Library.

Our last paired tech company and brewery: meet Vidyard and TWB Co-operative Brewing, both hailing from Kitchener.
Vidyard is the video platform for marketing and sales! They offer video hosting, enablement and analytics that help companies connect with more buyers, close more deals, and optimize content for real results.
Together We're Bitter (TWB) is probably Waterloo Region's first co-operatively owned and operated brewery. They're intent on brewing up community, craft, & good times. But mostly beer.

Startups and Beer is tomorrow!
We've paired University of Waterloo's Velocity accelerator with Hamilton's own brew group Collective Arts Brewing.
Velocity is proud to feature up and coming tech startups Bartesian and Mirage VR.
Collective Arts is one part beer brewery and one part music, art and culture collective. Check out their epic building 5-piece mural in the Hammer's North End.

#ThankfulTuesday: Startups and Beer is a free event, with donations accepted for the Kitchener Public Library digital media lab, Studio Central. Studio Central’s goal is to provide a space for the intersection of literacy and technology, where community members can learn, explore, and create with access to resources like a recording studio and 3D printing. Help make digital literacy possible for all members of our community!

Meet tech company Miovision and their brew pairing Royal City Brewing Company.
Miovision helps build tomorrow’s smart cities by transforming the way traffic is managed today.
Proudly brewed in Guelph and named for the city itself, is Royal City. Small-batch beer brewery. Huge community advocate.

Meet one of the hosts of #startupsandbeer: Magnet Forensics and their paired cider partner, Revel Cider Co.
Magnet Forensics is a global leader in software solutions for digital forensic professionals. They've been fighting crime since 2009.
The newest kid on the cidery block, Guelph-based Revel started with a forgotten antique apple press and a farmhand. Revel creates ciders with Ontario fruit, various botanicals and flowers, novel yeast and bacteria, and a variety of oak barrels.

Meet Dejero Labs and their brew pairing Block Three Brewing!
Dejero blends multiple IP connections to deliver fast and dependable connectivity for cloud computing, online collaboration, and the secure exchange of video and data.
Hailing from the village of St. Jacobs, the boys of Block Three know that great things come in small batches. (Fun fact: fans of the brewery call themselves Blockheads.)
