  Today is World Diabetes Day. In light of this we wanted to bring awareness about gestational diabetes, a type of diabetes that can occur during pregnancy. Gestational diabetes may occur if your levels of blood glucose becomes too high. This may cause problems for you and your baby. The good news; it can be screened for and can be managed with a healthy diet, exercise or sometimes with medication.
