Our leadership course offered to CWL members and led by the mentoring committee came to an end today . Thank you to our sisters who participated wholeheartedly, and who committed to these 6 weeks of learning. Our Tuesday nights were fun , exciting and memorable . Hope that we helped you grow as a woman leader .

Session 2 of our CWL “Empower Yourself to Unlock your hidden Talents” Workshop was a success! Our theme was “Wisdom” and our focus was Self-Confidence and “Self- Esteem” and enhancing public speaking skills. Thank you to the women participants who were immersed in the learning and courageous conversations . #catholicwomen #leadership

This group of diverse women are committed to social justice and human rights. They volunteer their time to fund raise for local charities, breakfast clubs to ensure all kids have a good breakfast, Syrian refugees and so many other causes. They also support many initiatives in developing countries. They connect with schools in the community and host educational events such as speech contests. These women advocate for issues that impact communities, and families at home and abroad and take an active role in creating resolutions, which are presented to the government annually. They make time to grow in their catholic faith by attending conferences and prayer workshops. They empower each other by encouraging each others talents and support each other especially in times of struggle. This is a national sisterhood of Catholic women who welcome and offer comfort to the vulnerable, the needy and the marginalized. In the servicing other they are filled with God's grace just as St, Francis says, " for it is in giving that we receive." You can make a difference and we'd love to have you come on board! :)
