Great venue for my husbands 40th. Samantha helped me coordinate everything and she was great to deal with. She gave us the area with the 2 big couches and it was perfect for mingling. Great food, great vibe and setting. Would host an event there again for sure!

Super disappointed with the service! Visited on a Friday night, restaurant was not overly busy, but was lucky to receive one drink per hour no joke. Between drinks the server was no where to be found. Ended up paying in cash when i received my second drink just because i realized it would likely be another hour before someone came back to the table. Were the drinks good? Yes. Were prices fair? Yes. Would i recommend? No.

What the heck is up with your bathrooms? It's unbelievable that the sinks are not located inside the bathrooms but out in the public open area instead. How is this even sanitary and passed by Health Canada?? I don't even want to imagine what is on the door handle when exiting the bathroom to walk to another area of the restaurant/bar to go wash my hands?? Women use their hands to remove/insert sanitary products. Do you not realize what can be on their hands after such? Men use their hands to urinate. This is absolutely disgusting and shame on the owners and designers for coming up with such a concept.

Lovely hidden gem near King Street West! Loved the atmosphere, the cocktails were outstanding and original. Really enjoyed the smoked maple old fashioned. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, she gave us wonderful recommendations and made us feel right at home! It was a busy Saturday night and drinks took a good 15 mins to get to us but there didn't seem to be a lot of staff workingWould definitely go back!

20 minutes without service, water or knowing who our waiter/waitress is. Order came with 2 additional drinks that we did not order.
Menu/drinks are good. Venue is really nice. But seriously guys step up your service. Sad to see such a nice place going to waste.response / report this review -

Got there for happy hour-service was really lacking. Waited there for about 15 min before they gave us water and took our order. Happy hour deals were great. Cocktails and sangria were tasty. I would go back again injury hope we get a better server next time.

We got here at about 12am, and the hostess said we needed to put our drink order in asap because the last call was at 12:15. We had no problem with this. We sat down and not a single person came to our table. No water, no server, nothing. We waited over 10 minutes for someone and no one came. So we left. Need better service or just need service in general.

They really have good Beer and Whisky options. Best place to have drink after work or hang out with you guys' friend. Also you can find nice finger foods in their menu and it was really cool place. Tried some whisky there and their Smokey one was really cool.

Came here for a quick drink. They have some very creative drinks in the menu. It bit expensive but with trying if you are a cocktail fan.

Excellent bar. However the volume of the music is at club levels, and less like a lounge everytime we go. A little less volume or put in a dance floor to justify the volume.

Worst experience ever, like literally.
After 1 hr at this place waitress asked us"to move to another table cuz this one is reserved " for some reason nobody mentioned that when we just came in ,and since it was pretty empty there this night its sounds illogical to me
Waitress was really rude about it , I think if you pay 150$ bill at least staff should be polite
No wine chose at all, they had only 1 kind of white wine ridiculous!
After having small meal there I got really sick in the stomachand apparently my evening was ruined!! Will never come back!!
There is plenty of nice places in Toronto for the same price that actually offers good customer service and food!response / report this review -

I asked SpiritHouse to host our company Christmas party for about 25 people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the bartender that did our workshop was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone had a great time. For the effort going into the cocktails they are actually a great price, where beer and bar rail are pretty standard industry price so no complaints there. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend to anyone.

We went here to have a meal and see a Magic show. We arrived prior to the show so we could eat, however "food" is not one of the locations top priorities. The menu was really just a variety of appetizers designed to compliment the drinking, as the main purpose people go there. I'd eat before going here, if we ever went again. The bar itself was clean, the staff were polite, the atmosphere was comfortable. If I was in my 20's again, I might even stop in for a drink in evening with friends, but as someone in their 40's that doesn't drink, I have little reason to come again except for special events, like the magic show (which wasn't overly impressive and not really worth the 90 minute drive and parking expense to get here).
