Amazing food with reasonable prices. It is great for a group gathering 3 people or more.
Please book reservations as it gets full from 7-9pm on weekends. And seating at the bar is not ideal for dinner.
This is not a good place for children (unless it's at the quiet section) as it gets loud with the banging and the "sake bomb" cries. If you are a young adult, this is the ideal place to spend a night in with your mates. Service was lovely. The waitress is very accommodating.response / report this review -

Meh experience. One of the meat features was a meat dish but it wasn't clear on the menu that it would be cold meat. Asked to return, didn't get a refund on the bill. Had to ask for one. All in all tho, the staff was nice and accommodating considering the size of our group. But it was such a headache splitting the bill. Pretty sure we overtipped because of it. I really hope they do something about this. For now, not coming back with a big group if they still can't split the bill. Too disorganized for big groups.

Staff is great and very accommodating. We were a party of 10 celebrating a birthday and they let us bring our own cake and balloons which was super nice as most restaurants don't allow that anymore. Food is good! Downside is we ordered 3 servings of the ribs and they forgot to bring it out. When they did, it was cold and definitely not appetizing. Everything else came out on time though and was delicious. Especially the baked oysters!

Always great food and great atmosphere. All the appetizers I've tried are always good, salmon shoulder was amazing, just a bit oily (natural fish oil, not cooking oil). The cocktails are really good too. I docked one star because the last time I went there I flagged a server down only to receive a swift reply, "Sorry I'm not your server." She was the only server around at the time, so I was slightly lost on how else I should order. The least she could have done was tell me to wait and notify the actual server.

Great place. Good atmosphere. A little pricey but the food was great. Came here for a birthday and had a blast. Samurai bombs are cool but be prepared for some mess if it spills.

Food was delicious, good service. We celebrated our friend B-Day. Amazing dinner for 6people.A bit loud but no complaints, it's kind of charm of place.

My wife and I came here for dinner at the Bloor location. Great Japanese food, amazing service and great atmosphere. If you have never experienced Japanese pub food, it is worth the visit. The wait staff was extremely helpful in recommending drink pairings with the food. The food is unique without ever straying from the pub food theme. Great place for a first date or date night and an even better place for a large group. Highly recommend trying it out.

This is a fun place to visit. The food is pretty good. Don't miss out of their baked oysters and rice dishes. Their staff is amazing enthusiastic which made the experience even more fun.

Was nervous about trying this place out for a friends birthday. Didn't really know anything on the menu, however I got the dumplings and they tasted great. Beer was great, taking your shoes off and sitting was pretty cool. Service was great. Only weird thing is you have to add up you own bill from the main bill and tell the server how much you owe them. Overall, much better than I expected and I would go again.

Always a great time here, it's really quite the experience. It's on the pricey side, but drinks and food are all very tasty and they have unusual options like jellyfish and beef tongue. Be prepared for a very loud environment, bring tipsy helps!

Amazing food and atmosphere! So much drink selection. Can get loud but it's all part of the party!! Very lively. Don't forget to make reservations and make sure to remember that 2 hour sitting limit starts when you get seated! Have fun!

Genuinely friendly staff, quick service and good drinks. I enjoyed the sake bomb, give it a try! The food is ok there are a lot of fried and non traditional dishes. Overall, I would say this is a good place for drinks and appetizers. Beware that it is quite loud here.

One of my favourite restaurants. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is incredible and very high energy. If you're looking for a fun delicious meal this is the place, not the place for a quiet dinner. I SAY SAKE, YOU SAY BOMB!

1) The waiter's English was extremely bad. Communication was very difficult. Ordering was extremely hard. 2) My friend ordered an item and cancelled it within a minute. Item was not served. However the item showed up on the bill. Someone caught it. Big red flag.
