Pretty good meal, although my steak was overdone. but the service was good. .
Really slow service. Six of us came for lunch on Nov 21st, with a reservation ahead of time. Once there, we waited 40 minutes to place our food orders, during which time two of us who arrived a bit later than the others ended having to go to the bar to get drink service. When the food finally came, the orders were staggered, with some of us getting food, and some not, and some orders not completed ("soup and salad" means soup and salad together, not soup and eventually, maybe, salad, 10 minutes after you've finished your soup). The service was pleasant enough, but when you've got an hour for lunch before you have to get back to a meeting, and make reservations ahead of time to make sure that everything goes smoothly, you'd hope for more timely service.
Good food. Good service. Decent prices for downtown Toronto
Relatively upscale with a solid menu of classics. I ordered the prime rib dinner - medium rare and unfortunately, it came out too rare. I'm usually fine with some blood but the texture was too slimy for my taste 🤷🏽♀️. Other than that, everybody else in my group enjoyed their meals.
Stopped in for a drink an hour before dinner. Great bar food, nice selecrion of wine's. Relatively quiet (sound level) which is a pleasant change.
Went in for a drink and were refused service because one of our party didn't have ID. Excuse was that that cannot serve anyone at a table that could be potentially underage (everyone was mid/late 20s), yet there was a table beside us with two kids at the table playing with toys while there were beers on their table. What a joke. Pointed this out and the waitress explained to us that they were close friends of the owner and therefore they were allowed. Avoid this place.
I wouldn't recommend this place personally. I have been on numerous occasions and always felt the service was mediocre at best. It doesn't seem to be managed at all. I stopped going there months ago because of the how much it had gone downhill in the last few years. Honestly, any other bar in Toronto would be better.
Cozy Irish pub with great selection of beer. Could use a touch more Irish music, super clean washrooms, great servers. Ask for the Shopsy's menu if you don't get it, great value. WiFi password is steakhouse
Nice atmost here a little pricy but that's okay. The food came fast and it was delicious. We come from Oshawa and we wanted to try this and Shopsy's out. Definitely coming back to try out the cocktail sausages!
Was just there last night with a party of 8. LOVED the food, ordered a goat cheese chicken off the summericious menu. Service, however was horrifying. I Was given the wrong dish for all 3 dishes, had to get it corrected every time. Additionally, For all 3 courses, everyone at the table was served at random times - we got our meals within a span of 15 mins from each other. So half the table ended up having cold food while the other half had warm. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone, the service is horrible.
Best service in the financial district. The sausage appetizers were the best thing I've had at a pub in a long time
Great food at very acceptable prices. The location is very convenient also
Was here for weekday lunch. It's obviously not a cheap lunch spot, but we definitely got our money's worth.
Good food, good service, nice ambiance, quiet enough to have a conversation.
They were able to accommodate a group of 7 on short notice.
We'll definitely be coming back.
Such a unique place - three restaurants in one location. A Steakhouse, a deli and an Irish Pub. Great selection of food and choices for everyone. Highly recommended.
One of the best whisky collections in the downtown area. Great California wine offerings. Professional staff.Good food and atmosphere. Will go again.
