The leisure center is a great facility that meets the needs of almost everyone. I use them for their after school program. My 5 year old daughter loves it. They are always doing various activities always keeping the kids active. The hours are very convenient. It is fairly pricey and to watch your child for PD days when the school is closed they charge extra for child care.

This is most definitely a world class facility! BUT.having said that, the customer service front desk is WAY TOO SMALL and requires 10 more staff so that we don't have to wait in line for an Hour + as I have done before to get a pass. That can be easily done ONLINE! !!!

Amazing I come here all the time after volleyball games and go swimming with friends to cool off from the big game. We play man tracker and more. We always have so much fun and we love it! Great staff. Sept on is always grumpy (life gaurd).

I live right by the southwest end of Calgary, and this is a great place for me to go play in the wave pool or work on my fitness at the gym. My good friend always takes me here and we sure do some good exercise. The punching bag is worth it for getting rid of all my angry feelings. And the customer service is always wonderful, even on busy summer holidays!

Only went to the pool but it was great. Reasonable price for family fun. Mini water slides, wave pool, diving board etc. Lots to do and keep everyone happy. Lockers are 0.25 and what you expect. Change areas were clean and staff friendly.

A great way to enjoy an afternoon.. a rainy day any day really. However, I sometimes wonder if the filter is working in the hottub and how clean in it's entirety the pool, change rooms steam room and surrounding areas are.. that being said I go there often, I take my young daughter and we have a great time every single time. We even shower there.. because I won't leave without showering but you have to pack smart to keep it as clean of an experience as you can be responsible for. There is a small food venue set up and it's not that bad either.. To be honest enjoyment is a 5. Cleanliness a 3. My star score is an average.

The weight room is the best - lots of treadmills etc (which is why I've given three stars) although some of the members of staff in there seem to have rather odd personalities (you certainly don't feel very welcome in there!), but the pool is way, way too crowded. I can't believe it's legal to have that many in the pool at one time and with hard plastic rafts with metal bolts - at a wave pool. Been injured both times I've been - bruises from getting hit in the arms and face.
Also, the steam room needs to be adults only. Please. It's insane - the kids go in and out holding the door open; and yesterday were bringing water from the fountain in the mouths, and spitting it onto the metal machine in the corner. Would be nice too if reception staff were consistent - really friendly one week and then barking at fee paying customers the next, just because they were having some computer problems. You expend less energy being consistently friendly.
9.45pm-9.55pm - that was worth the 12.50. You actually had some space in the pool. It was a little comfortable with the lifeguards glaring at you because they wanted us to leave but that was the absolute best. The rest of the time in the pool, you barely have even three inches space around you and you're in constant danger of being kicked in the face by teenagers who are on the pool toys so their feet are level with your head. If you really can't have any adults only time in the pool, is there no way of having some time without all the rafts etc? Most pools have designated times when there are pool toys. Supposedly you do too according to the schedule, but they're in there all day.
I can't be the only one who has repeatedly been hit the face by people using that hard plastic blue raft?

It is hard to believe that this facility is over 30 years old as it is kept in top shape and has the variety of activities that everyone is looking for.
A hidden gem of this place is the children's play school programs. The teachers are super caring and really bring the best out of the kids. Ms. Leslie has had a lasting impression on my eldest who was in her class 2 years ago!
My youngest loves going to Ms. Purples class and has learned so much from going there. Very impressed.

A hidden gem, a hot with the kids and families alike. Why head to Edmonton when we have an awesome wave pool and water slides, sauna and hot tub, gym, weight room, all in the heart of YYC. It gets busy at times, but that's fine with the kids.

One of the more enjoyable pools in the city. Big waves, fun slides, and other features. There's also hot tubs, sauna, steam room, and diving boards.
