First time there. Went for .35¢ wings on Wednesday night. The server was friendly however it took 30 minutes to get an order of 10 wingsthe server told us another server took our wings for her table. The deal of the day for beer was grasshopper pint for 6.90. The waitress offered another beer to my boyfriend he said sure. Then when we got our bill he found out that he had two beers, same size, same brand for 2 different prices. When he asked she said "I don't know > insert bartenders name
Nice for a little old pub!! Food was amazing , prices were great 😛
Special is steak sandwich. Over cooked, onion mushroom topping cold and undercooked. Ceasar salad usually very good, today is bland and unimpressive. One waitress/bartenter for the whole place. She should get a raise for working as hard as she has to.
Great wings and ambiance if you're looking for a place to go on a wing night! Service is great and friendly, I've done several work outings here and they've always been a good time.
The service was awesome, the food was great, but the bathroom is in serious need of a makeover. It was clean, but has obviously been there for years of abuse (door didn't latch properly, no hook on the back of the door to hang my purse, and the tiles chipped away from where the partition connects to the wall).
Absolutely love the atmosphere here. The servers are very polite and check if you require anything a reasonable amount of times. Honey garlic chicken caesar salad is to die for!
One of my favorites. Good food and pleasant atmosphere.
Was there yesterday and was impressed how Judy the waitress showed great people skills. She really sold the specials and handled the rowdier regulars quite well. I would give her 5 stars, but the bar itself needs work. Food was good, but they could work on the happy hour prices. Saving 35 cents a drink seems a little cheap.
I came for the Monday special of stuffed Yorkshire puddings for $1 apiece. They were decent. The place feels like a dark, dive bar but it's alright.
Delicious artichoke dip. Great to play pool while you wait for food. And the service was wonderful.
Stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner and a few drinks. The place was dead at 7pm, the service was slow and bordering on rude. Our waitress clearly had no interest in being there. Sat for 5 minutes before receiving menus or seeing our server. When we finally got our drinks the server practically threw them at as as she walked by and we had to call her back to order applies, which were super greasy. Server took another 10 minutes to check in, at that point we grabbed our bill and went for dinner at Jack Astors. Shame really as this could be a great spot with a cool old English pub feel.
Got rid of the new online Big Buck Hunter and replaced it with a much older one. Been here for 30 mins and no waitress yet. I know it's St. Patrick's day but the place is half empty. Called a cab to relocate the party.
The staff are great and the new menu is fantastic! Used to come here regularly when I worked in the area. Servers would remember you and your orders. Had great work parties here too.
Good atmosphere for a dive bar. I popped in here for a beer before I went grocery shopping and I am glad that I did. Spacious seating area and lots of great specials. The woman who bartends here during the daytime has always greeted me with a big smile. I was a little suspicious when I ordered a pint of Original 16 and she poured it from the Keith's tap. "Don't worry, we just switched the lines," she assured me. Wouldn't it be just as easy to switch the tap handles?
Once there was a teenager who stole a vehicle and the police chased him into the Superstore parking lot. There was no exit from the parking lot and the teenager ended up driving over the edge of the hill and crashing into an electric pole and knocking out the power to the Black Swan. The pub patrons were asked to evacuate the pub until the power came back on and when they were outside a brawl ensued between all of the patrons. What a great story.
