  This store is not much more than a glorified Mac's Milk. Selection is SO limited and unsophisticated. Basically lots of as few basic things as they can get away with. Empty shelves on a Saturday morning??? I have seen a few decent Sobey's but for some reason they don't seem to care about this one. Store furniture looks like it came from Goodwill

  I'm glad that Sobey's is in Maple Grove Mall; their presence is important. It just seems to me that it could be doing a better job of providing the products that people actually want.

  Was visiting Chantilly Patisserie. Absolutely phenomenal pastries, desserts and lunches. Great sandwiches, meat and cheese pasties, and amazing quiche. Coffee, cappacino and many varieties of tea.

  Visited this store recently and had a very bad experience with the seafood and Bakery departments. The young lady in seafood had a very bad attitude and the counter was not very appealing and it smelled very bad i believe the employee was the manager the attitude was very unbecoming of a manager. The bakery had very little in selection of cakes and the employee couldn't even write on it. This store has gone down hill very badly since january of 2016. I have started traveling further to the Glen abbey location and everyone is friendlier than this location, The seafood and bakery managers there know what they are doing i always go to them now they are so helpful.

  Once a neighborhood staple, this Sobeys now occupies the mushy middle between more bulk oriented grocery stores like Walmart and Costco and higher end offerings from Whole Foods and Longos. Store management need to settle on a strategy that's more neighborhood specific.
