One of the nicest, secluded lakes around. Access is a 35 km drive down a bumpy gravel road off the main highway leads you to this campsite and lake access. Boat launch for small boats and jet skis.
The host Shane and wonderful wife are great host, plus we will always come back, just a great place, the hosts are doing a fantastic job on taking care of the place, and the loud ones, try it out, you won't want to leave.
Very clean sites. Sites by the water are not very private but you are right on the water. Sites in the forest sites are big. Not very busy last weekend with lots of good sites to choose from. Windy during the day so a little rough for paddle boarding. Wind calms down in the evening. Best time to paddle is first thing in the morning. Btw, they do have a bit of mice infestation. They come out at night so careful with food and dishes left out.
We had a blast staying here for the July Long weekend. Camp host kicked the hooligans out and it was very quiet after that. Very good spot.
Great spot! Really glad it's open again and the hosts this year are incredibly kind and helpful. Very excited to go back and camp again on this beautiful lake.
Great & helpful & kind hosts on site. Nice breeze to keep the bugs away. Spectacular views
Beautiful little hidden gem only 2.5hours drive from Vancouver. Went here on a weekend.. drove up a doable forest service road and was greeted by 2 very friendly and knowledgeable camp hosts! Great big spots in the forests and along the river. You can purchase firewood and there are drop toilets. The hosts even had Wi-Fi! Just a great secluded spot 👍
Amazing views! Great camping at the Rec site!
