Best spot for drink specials. good late night food and awesome friendly service. It's a perfect dive bar with darts and sports. Great poutine too! They recently expanded too so there is a bunch more seating.

Maybe this place just wasn't for me. I saw the 4.0 and I like pub food so I made my way to the esplanade and gave Scotland Yard a try. I found the experience to be in a word, okay. The wings were okay the fries were okay the setting was okay. Of those three things the fries are probably the most damming as most pub food comes with fries so therefore they need to be fantastic. I will give extra points for the garlic bread.

I think I was also expecting a somewhat nicer setting. The website was slick enough that I had a different feel in mind. Instead I'd say it's your standard North American pub crossed with being in someone's rec room. Anyway this all comes across as a bit negative but I think given the right expectations the place is fine and will serve your pub going needs. Just personally I wouldn't seek it out.

Service was good but not very engaging. The food and beverages were expensive for the kind of quality we received. My suicide flavour wings were something I wouldn't even consider hot.

Service was super fast and friendly, food (fish and chips) was great! Interior was very nice. Prices were reasonable. We were visiting from Buffalo and gave this pub a try, glad we did!

Good old school bar with a decent beer selection. It doesn't try to be fancy and that's a nice change. Has a dart board too so it's that kinda place.

A solid choice to meet for a couple of drinks.

I've never say in the main bar area, but my experience with a reserved table in the back has always been good. The food is really good and fairly reasonably priced. Drink selection is good enough for someone who doesn't drink much. Staff are always really nice, and it's cool that they remember our group even though we only go every other month.

We went to the Scotland Yard Pub after some training and it was great because they were 2.75 beers. One of the cheapest prices I've seen in Toronto. It was nice to stop by for a quick pint it had decent atmosphere people were playing darts and they have some TVs in there with sports playing.

Great food and the service was spectacular! Plates of shareable sliders and a few good pints. We had kids with us and were without our usual bag of distractions for the pre-meal wait. Not generally a kid place but the waitress went to a friend next door at the Old Spaghetti factory and got some colouring menus and packs of crayons. Throw in a few Shirley Temples and we were good to go! Combine that with the fact that the excellent food came shockingly fast and the whole experience was fantastic.

Been going there at least once a week for the last 2 years to watch football (the real kind) and all thumbs up! Our supporters' club have made it our home bar.
Great taps with some excellent local beers. Gary is a wizard in the kitchen and turns out great food - fantastic steak frites. And the service is, of course, first class. Thanks Dan and Carlos!
