This place was a disappointment. The poutine was decent and the cornbread was really good. The chicken and ribs were over smoked. The ribs were like eating jerky. Tough and very little meat.

Absolutely the best experience, ever! They catered my husband's birthday party, and all of the guests loved the food. Everything was ready on time, and we picked it up (they loaded our vehicle and gave us extra wipes, plates, napkins, bbq sauce, the works!). We had the pulled pork and bbq chicken, as well as corn bread. The service was wonderful, and the food was spectacular. Our family would recommend Schryer's in a heartbeat. Best BBQ in the city! And a special shout out to Jon, who took great care of us.

Rude service coupled with quantity & quality not meeting the pricing. I used to frequent a couple years ago, but due to budgeting restraints, I was unable to visit. Now I can afford to, but will not return due to the terrible service and lack of responsibility as far as matching the pricing with the quality of food served.
I would strongly recommend others avoid visiting this restaurant until they take better care of their customers, including losing the terrible service and snarky servers.

Got our take out order almost completely wrong (even if we don't consider the thing that had to be altered because they told us when we got there to pick up our take out that they didn't have it). Food was mediocre at best. They said they would give a refund, but that has not happened. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the food or service!

My son and I went yesterday. The service was good but that is the only nice thing I could say about it. The brisket I ordered was cold, tough, and had very little flavour. My son ordered the full rack of ribs and for the money you would expect back ribs, not so. Side ribs - cheap and tough. Will not go back . Food quality very poor, and way to pricey.
