As a teenager i went every weekend to watch and race from 65 to 1969 i now have a68 ply sat with a528 stroker all roller with294ex comp cam also have max wedge cast exaust manifolds with 3" cutouts love mopars

Buddies car had light tint, tech said he couldnt run. Literally saw 5 other classic cars running tint and much darker tint at that not a very consistent system

It's a fun filled day. You get to see and learn about Bracket drag racing; where all different kinds of cars race against each other. There concession stands and a beer garden. Great family entertainment. The racers enjoy showing off their cars and answering questions.
They also have a junior racing section where kids and teen learn about driving, safety and they race in their own class.

I have had nothing but bad experiences over the last 10 years going to SIR street legal racing events. The main issue is their tech staff has been consistently inconsistent on what passes tech and what doesn't on my car. Needless to say it's frustrating when your unchanged car doesn't pass tech when it did the previous event or vise versus. I have never had this issue at any other tracks I have raced at. Also, the track is seldom prepped for a street legal event compared to Castrol Raceway.
