My wife delivered a baby here 4 days ago and I would have given it 4 or 4.5 stars if it wasn't for the maternity ward where one is sent afterwards. Totally different place, doesn't look like it's the same hospital. Older beds and minimal room amenities even though we were in a private room which is supposedly just a step down from Victorian suite which is what we requested and didn't get. We were fortunate that at least one of the nurses was very supportive. However they were all interested in just getting us discharged the next day. My wife developed a bladder condition that was displacing her uterus but the staff nurse just kept insisting that it'll be fine and discharged us. My wife had to be readmitted to the hospital a day later for the same issue. Even second time around they haven't done anything to remedy the situation and simply asked my wife to see her obstetrician at her clinic even though the obstetrician also works at RUH. Wait time was extremely long and trainee after trainee just came to bombard us with questions that the doctor eventually asked again anyway. When performing a catheter insertion they didn't feel the need to provide some sort of pain management and when my wife said it was causing her pain she got the following response: "you're not exactly here to watch a movie at a cinema, of course it's going to hurt". Unbelievable!
THEE WORST HOSPITAL IN THE CITY!!! They are killing people instead of helping them! If EMS tells you your going to Ruh, your not going to get good treatment nor proper health. Docs know absolutely nothing. Something needs to change. If you get hit by a car, tough it out man. You'll be surprised, it's not nearly as pain as having to deal with the staff there.
.ROYAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
#1 out of the 3 hospitals we have here in Saskatoon. Recognized doctors not only in our region but all of Canada and the U.S
If it's to get the proper care and treatment for any discomforting medical conditions you might be having, this is the hospital you want to be at if you find yourself in Saskatoon, Sk.
The University atmosphere, the selection of cafeterias, the choices for vending machines, parkades and parking lots are only some of the many great things this hospital has to offer. Architecture built on a solid foundation, with continued construction to maintain and expand the experience. I recommend this option when seeking anything medical in our beautiful city of Saskatoon!

This nurses are the rudest can't believe this if u don't like ppl don't work at the hospital wow
It's not just some it's all of the nurse that work in emergency! Unbelievable u all need to find a different job
Great hospital. I've never had issues here. Saved my life once before and every time I'm come for small emergencies, the system they have in place certainly makes it a smooth process. 5/5 beats Saint Paul's system 1,000,000X over.
Do not go here unless you want to die - i brpught my boyfriend in around midnight when he started puking up blood, they sent us to the minor care place, we waited until 530am and still no care he started feeling better so we said screw it and came home not impressed
Been to St. Paul's hospital for severe dehydration due to diarrhea. They stabbed an i.v. in my arm and disappeared for 2 hours. Nurse came back and ripped it out. Blood all over and got poorly bandaged.
Came here for the same reason and totally different experience. Got my i.v., was checked on regularly. They even injected vitamins and antibiotics very carefully to the point where my heart was syphoning it on it's own. The care they gave me was worth going way out of my way to this hospital alone.
I have great experiences there well not great but dr and nurses are amazing however wait times could be shorter but not complaining
still the worst hospital in saskatoon (government sinkhole)
the other day went in for a stress test asked what was in the injection was told "medication" and into the procedure asked again what's in the injection again told "medication" the next day at the border triggered the radiation scanners. what a gong show tied up at border for 4 hours, and of course U of S hospital can't help till monday????? its friday night?? no emergency number, and now the tech is lying and the hospital (big government). pass the buck stall. call herewhat if i was at a tsa in a air port i'd lost my flight along with other travel plans. The stress test had medical radiation, dye, medicine.
be warned
I'm in here right now. In erc (limbo). I hate it ! Pretty stupid there's no shower. we all share one washroom. You have no privacy either.
All that separates you between other patients are curtains.
Im awaiting a room in the cardiac wing. Im here for a week. I better get one soon !
This is defiantly a gong show !
I just watched this documentary about this hospital on women getting sterilized against their own will (tubes tied). If you are a pregnant woman do not go to this hospital to give birth. You've been warned !!
nice hospital i had my appendix out there and it was a good experience because i had my appendix explode then a doctor came to see me and he took me into surgery right away. Yesterday i had choked on a piece of roast beef and they helped me a lot and at the end i got a popsicle
