  I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I called my Mother today to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. I was told by the person who answered the telephone that she, the employee, was on her break and was not going to walk across the building right now and to call back in a little while. I find this disturbing and unprofessional due to the lack of empathy this person had. I am a registered nurse, and I work in a large hospital. If a family member was calling to wish their loved one a Happy Mother's Day, I would walk across that building to give the phone to the resident. A little empathy goes a long way. I had no intention of rating this nursing home. I just wanted to make a point; however, in order to publish this review, I have to give it a rating. Unfortunately, today Mont St Joseph home receives a two star rating.
