The rooms are nice but overall a work in progress.

I'm only giving this motel a 1 star rating because this site doesn't give
me the option of zero.
We had a terrible experience with the Rosedale Motel. I had booked
two rooms for New Year's Eve and our reservations were confirmed. We drove through the horrible severe winter storm to get there and we were
so happy to finally get to our destination. I went to the front door and rang the bell as instructed. Nobody came to the door but a short while
after a woman came out of one of the rooms and informed us that the
motel had been sold about 10 days prior. She said the new owners didn't seem to understand that there were reservations to be honoured, that
they weren't on the premises and she would try to reach them. She
said she might be able to break into the empty rooms we had booked
and scrounge up some bedding but she wasn't sure. She recommended
we drive into Fenelon Falls to see if we could find other accomodation.
Meanwhile, the SEVERE winter storm is raging and I couldn't believe
what was happening to us. I have to say the unnamed woman who
gave us the information wasn't to blame - don't blame the messenger!!!
But the whole experience was very stressful, very unprofessional of
the owner, and I have never heard anything back from anyone about
compensation for this fiasco. We were lucky to find something else
but last minute on New Year's Eve was also more pricey! I feel we
should be compensated somehow for this mess but when I call
the number for the Rosedale Motel, it goes to an answering machine.

Not worth $105.00. Needs a lot of work. you can hear people talking in rooms beside yours. No curtains, so rooms are real hot. Booked room before it was cleaned and they didn't even leave the air on so it would be cool when we got there. The room would not have cooled down in time for sleeping so we just walked a way from it, $ 105.00 dollars down the drain. I would never stay there again and would say stay away. Nicer motel just up the road.

No frills motel. Perfect if your staying a few nights in the area. Basic room and good service. I probably wouldn't recommend it if your a light sleeper. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear everything that's going on. If your just looking for a room for the night with no added benefits, then this place is perfect!
