Beautiful view of Buckhorn Lake. Water is great. Facilities are good but not honeymoon quality. Great spot to go relax and fish. Leslie is an awesome host. Had a fantastic weekend stay. I will be back.

This place was pretty good cottages were clean, beds were good quality, kitchens well stocked. For us the big drawback was the swimming. It was very weedy in the lake and ver shallow before we booked they had told us the swimming was excellent. It was not.

Great location! Good space between cabins. Great for our family reunion. Lots of activities, good service. Cabins are quite cozy. Only negative is that there is only one fire pit for the whole resort. Other than that, this is a great spot to spend a few days or week.

Was here for a family reunion in June Stayed in one of the older 3 bedroom cottages (7a) which had a great view of the water and had a wonderful breeze coming off the lake. Didn't really use any services, but the place was nice and kept well. The cottage was clean and functional. Could have used some more electrical receptacles. Overall a great stay.

We have enjoyed the cottages for several years. Good cottage heat in October. Cable TV is nice but it changed the experience. Musky fishing is good in this area.

My family, friends and I have been enjoying Scotsman Point Resort for over 3 decades now and have great memories and always looking forward towards the new ones every year we head up.
It's a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet, the fishing is all a fishermen could want and most of all.. freindly and great staff to help enjoy your stay!

We have been going up to Scotsman point for over 16 years. There has been a recent change of ownership and subsequently a few of the cabins have been renovated. We have stayed in many of them, but enjoyed the newly renovated cabin number 16. Wonderful Lakefront in front of the Cottages, a safe Beach for children. The staff is friendly and helpful. We usually return a second or third time in one season alone. This is a quiet resort where you can relax and observe nature . Can't wait to go back next year!

Basic lodging for a nearby family reunion. Cottage was rustic and minimally comfortable. Good enough for a night or two, but wouldn't stay a whole week. Lake is good for fishing, boating, etc. But not ideal for swimming.
