A very beautiful area and the place is well maintained. My family had an amazing time here! Can't wait to come back next year :) The new owners are amazing. It's family owned, they're all nice and helpful.

It was a lovely time spent here. Very scenic, the views do not get old. Beautiful sunset and sunrise bouncing off the calm waters were truly lovely.. taking the boats out was also so fun!

I would just like to go to the defence of Ambleside Resort in which Penny has written her comments about her stay.My family are regulars and stay at the resort every year to have a pleasant holiday.Their prices are reasonable the cottages and grounds are kept clean as clean can be and well maintained.Penny this is a family resort that will accomadate a girls weekend with ease as long as the rules that have been put in place are followed so that the other guests can enjoy their stay as well.Just because you paid for your stay doesnt mean that no one else has not paid the same money out .As for playing music in your cottage we do it every year in cottage seven which is right beside the owners dwellings and have never asked us to turn it down so I would think it was pretty loud.For anyone looking for a great stay in a beautiful area with great hosts I highly reccomend Ambleside Cottage Resort as a choice not to be passed over it is a real jewel on Sturgeon Lake .Gary and Gerry Baldwin

Just in response to Penny reviewwe are extremely mature and professional women.. Not sure where Pete's wife was.. Because we did not meet her.. However we were not loud.. Or disrespectfully to anyone We laughed and had a good time When we talked with the neighbours we were told that they had no complaints. So not sure what neighbour's they speak of Not a good experience!!!!!!!!And as for Larry.. He was one of the 2 men on their porch yelling at us when we were playing the games..funny!!!!!

For my wife and I, Ambleside is our home away from home. Peter and Sandra have created an atmosphere where you can truly unwind and relax by the beautiful lake and scenery. Close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough away that it's peaceful. We just got home today and are already counting down the days until next year.

Just spent a week at this beautiful Resort. The owners are super friendly, the cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Our children loved the beach and the play area. It was a quiet, peaceful place, highly recommend it. Thanks guys!!
