A big thank you to all the cadets who participated in The Remembrance Day Parade and our Candlelight Vigil. Just a reminder, this Tuesday there will be a Parent meeting at 19:00, we will also be having photo night for all Cadets Bravo Zulu. @ Gage Park, Brampton

A HUGE congratulations and well done to MS Monteith, who just won the silver medal at the provincial orienteering competition in the Junior Female Individual category!!! She also came 10th in the female team category with cadets from other units.
Bravo Zulu!!! Way to represent ILLUSTRIOUS so well!

Congratulations to PO1 Jenna O'Halloran, and PO1 Emma Mcgregor, on attaining their four year service medals! We are happy to announce PO1 Mathew Stoodley is one of the few at our Corps to attain his six year bar for his service medal. We wish to congratulate PO1 Liliann Bingle on receiving her tall ship badge for her time spent sailing HMCS ORIOLE. We are very proud of all your accomplishments. Our Navy League helps make our program possible and we are pleased to announce the voting in of our new parents committee too. Thank you for all you do in support of our program.

Congratulations to our Orienteering teams!! It was a fabulous day to compete.
Female Team with PO1 Bingle, PO1 McGregor and MS Nolan came in 5th place. Female Team with MS Zouah, MS Monteith and AB Sabhaya coming 6th place over all.
Other very notable individual performances were MS Madu coming 2nd place, LS Nielsen coming 5th place, and AB Faria coming 6th place, in the Junior Male Category.
MS Zouah coming in 3rd place in the Junior Female category and MS Monteith taking the top Junior Female competitor and who will be representing our unit at Regionals in Ottawa!
Bravo Zulu to all the competitors - your hard work and perseverance has definitely paid off!!

The Sea Cadet Program was the best thing that has ever happened to not just our son, but to our whole family. My son was a part of Illustrious 139 for four years, and thanks to the amazing experiences and opportunities he was able to have, he has just began his journey on forming a career in The Canadian Armed Forces as a Military Chef!
