  Bob and Catherine (from Winnipeg) are cycling across Canada to raise awareness about Learning Disabilities. Their journey started off in BC and will end in PEI in late summer.

  Today, they stopped by our office for a meet & greet. This afternoon they are attending a Summer camp at LDA Toronto Region.

  Having others believe in the rights of all is empowering. Thank you for supporting the needs of others. For over 21 years I have done the same and would like to take a moment to share something. My friend and long time colleague have supported the rights of those with a diagnosis and now we have written a book: How to Explain a Diagnosis to a Child- An Interactive Guide for Parents and Professionals.   my cellphone provider not accommodating my disability
  
  
  
  I am client of Koodo mobile I have severe issues spelling I have been diagnosed with Aspergers with comorbid bipolar and I am on odsp ie Ontario Disability Support Program and I use voice activated typing to communicate most of my written statements I asked them if they could accommodate this particular disability with an unlimited data plan they claim they had no methods to do this which I think goes against the the Ontarion with Disabilities Act is designed to break down barriers of communication physicality physical barriers and all the other barriers that may impede somebody from participating fully in society this particular technology uses a lot of bandwidth that is why I think it is from of discrimination
