Local author and historian Rob Cotton, of Owen Sound, has recently published Owen Sound Harbour, A Photographic History. The book includes over 140 black and white photographs depicting Owen Sound and the harbor in a much busier era, There are many beautiful photos of many of the lake ships that routinely made stops in Owen Sound and the local industries that supported them. Printing can be interactive as demonstrated by this project recently completed for Grey Bruce Health Services. The dial is an interactive tool, allowing users to rotate each of three dials to align specific population groups with challenges and solutions. The customer provided the requirements and we designed and produced the dial. The discs are digitally printed on heavyweight card stock and laser cut into circles. [ 67 more words ]

Qwik Print works with numerous local not-for-profit organizations. The Meaford Hall and Culture Foundation (MHCF) has initiated several fundraising projects and used print media as a primary promotion method. This has been in the form of large-format banners (4’ x 8’), coroplast signs, brochures and adhesive window signs. Bayview School Creates Final Yearbook
This is the last year students will attend Bayview School. It is one of three local schools that closed at the end of the June. To create a permanent record of the year, including photos of students, staff, activities and clubs, the school produced a yearbook that was printed by Qwik Print.
Creating a yearbook is a big job and Kerri Walpole, the book designer has suggestions for anyone considering this type of project.
