  Zachary assured me that I could get preapproved, but alas he was not able to secure me a mortgage after over a week of waiting. I felt mislead and I believe a more knowledgeable mortgage broker would have identified the issue earlier. He was also slow to respond during several instances. EDIT: The CEO Stephen personally reached out to me to apologize for my experience. He explained lenders had stricter policies because of COVID and this affected my preapproval. I have revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars as Stephen was incredibly gracious and helpful. He clearly went over my situation with me and provided advice on how I should move forward. He has an incredible commitment to customer service, which was able to spin my bad experience into a positive one.

  Despite being in the process of still attaining a mortgage through Steven at Clover mortgage, the process so far has been a delight. I have dealt with dozens of mortgage brokers as either a lender or a borrower in the past several years and I cannot think of one with a higher degree of competence and responsiveness than Steven. I felt compelled to call him after reading his website and more specifically the sections about getting mortgages for self employed individuals. His knowledge around the topic and past reviews indicated that I should not be disappointed and I certainly wasn't. Despite the seemingly never-ending questions from me, he never hesitates to give a thoughtful answer and is always willing to explore all options. Highly recommend

  There are some PEOPLE who makes such a difference to help your GOAL or DREAM comes through and they do it with super friendly but professional manner, CALM but so precise, available in difficulties, treat you like a close friend and work smart and look at all angles to support you and the list is keep going on and onso 5 STARS is just not enough for all the days and nights they work hard for you!

  No words can express our gratitude for the professionalism, respect, patience and excellent customer service Yen provided us. We are impressed. As a previous coach of Service Excellence for businesses, I can safely say that Clover Mortgage have exceeded our expectations. They epitomize the core beliefs and values that we hope to instill when teaching Service Excellence.
  We felt a little vulnerable having to refinance our home and Yen made the transition incredibly smooth. Her knowledge, confidence and assistance reassured and afforded us the ability to take a breath and look at the refinancing with clarity and calmness. Not to mention the ability to get us a very good rate. On a side note, she returns calls and e-mails in a very timely manner. We will definitely refer Clover Mortgages to friends and family.
