Smelt like pool water when you entered. The layout wasnt inviting
Stayed there Sept. 23, 2017. I do appreciate the concept of supply and demand. When I booked I was told the price and based on the pictures on the website, the price seemed on the high end but I agreed. When I saw the room I had to remind myself that demand determines price and this was still the high season. Having said that, the room I was given must be $35.00 in the off season; enough said? Old, outdated, tattered carpets. These folks need to invest some of the profits back into the business.
Nothing special, old building and furniture. Comfortable enough. Good location, close to Pinery and downtown Grand Bend. Friendly staff. You can borrow park pass for Pinery for a few hours from the front desk.
Pricey for what it is and definitely dated. Muggy due to the indoor pool. Staff are friendly and if you have some friends over they dont get too bent out of shape unlike Amber hotel next door. Definitely a good spot of you are travelling as a crew.
Clean. Good service .hot water for showing.
Nice place to stay for the night. Nothing special.
We stayed in the suite and it was a lovely room. Complimentary wine and chocolate added a romantic feel to the evening. Very clean and comfortable room at a fair price. I would definitely recommend this room to couples looking for a getaway.
Great location staff is super friendly and professional as well as helpfull
We have stayed here twice now in the past 6 weeks and seen 3 different rooms. Every time the rooms were clean and fresh, the staff were friendly and courteous and we had a great nights' rest. The kids loved the pool and games area and even outside had some nice play and seating areas for both adults and kids. OH OH, If you are going and want to BBQ they have a BBQ area for public use, just bring your own brickets/coals for cooking.
All in all, it was a great getaway and we will be back soon. Thanks Marie Jo and staff.
