If you love your hot sauces. We use YellowBird at Peake Barbecue We've been fans for years and we knew it would be a great fit for the restaurant. Nice write up from Epicurious on "The Bird" It works perfectly with our brisket and other fare.

Absolutely delicious! You can taste the flavour of the beef and the smoke all at once. I bbq on a Traeger at home for everything! But when it comes to Brisket! Sean has it down to a science! They purchase the meat locally at Delzotto’s which speaks volumes on a quality meat!! You will not be disappointed unless they are fully sold of out of brisket!!! I can promise you that!!! The butter tarts are to die for! The fluffy buttery pastry is bar none!!!

I must have gone at a bad time. We went on a Friday lunch time. 12:15. We could have brisket or brisket. Or the lunch for 2 that includes sausage and sides. I didn't understand the menu (actually no menu, a blackboard at the back of the restaurant). Sandwiches are delivered on trays and don't come with a side..guess I had to order that separately not getting the lunch for 2 but weren't told that. No napkins or cutlery offered. Had to get our own drinks from the fridge. The water bottle on our table was empty. Guess they just reuse them all day. I thought the meat would be hot but again, I was mistaken. They were out of corn bread. 2 sandwiches, no sides and 2 drinks were $33. Very disappointed. Hope this was just a one off bad experience as others have raved about the place. It has potential and Alliston definitely needs good restaurants. I just can't quite figure this one out.

Had the platter for two as well as some of the back ribs and everything was excellent. The meat was tender and the sauces were very tasty; the potato salad and coleslaw were great as well. Would definitely go back as well as recommend.

I was there today for lunch with my friend. We both had a very delicious messy brisket sandwich. Was really yummy. I had their sweetened ice tea. Very good. Would go back for sure. Owners are very friendly. There were a lot of people coming and going.

Delicious! We had a platter for 2 with sides and 2 mini pies. Everything was fantastic! Now those ribs are calling, so we will be back soon to try those too. Great local food, this is exactly what this town needed!

Went during the food truck ralley for the tacos, came back for the brisquet. Everything was delicious. I could drink Thales BBQ sauce it was so good.

The restaurant is in its soft opening phase. Still fine tuning, but well on its way. You're not going to get monster portions of over salted, over sugared food. No tricks, just taste. We had the 1lb ribs, and Taste of Everything platter. The ribs numbered about 4.5 well smoked, rubbed, flavourful tender ribs. For those that require sauce, it's served on the side. The platter had smoked brisket, smoked sausage, smoked pinto beans, lightly creamy coleslaw, potato salad, and a slice of fresh bread. Both had onions & sliced pickles on the side. The meats on the platter are pre-cut. They're not hot, but nevertheless well seasoned, and tasty. I'm a salter, but gave the food a chance, and found that it worked. It didn't require the extra that I would've put on by reflex. The cornbread was cornbread, not corn sweet cake, just the way it should be. The coffee is full flavoured without being bitter. An interesting twist is that rather than using plates, it's served on a tray with butcher type paper as the plate, with the sides in small paper containers. As of now the cutlery is plastic, but I think that may change as plastic isn't practical for cutting ribs.

Without exaggeration, During my first bite of the brisket sandwich I thought "this is the best meat I've ever eaten". And the potato sandwich.and the key lime pie! Wonderful relaxed atmosphere!

We were lucky enough to be able to secure 1lb of Brisket and some Spare Ribs this past Sunday afternoon. To say they were smoked to near perfection is a complete understatement. The Brisket literally melted in our mouths (we got the "good stuff"; who wants lean BBQ ? LOL). The ribs were so good that saucing them up kinda seemed like a crime. Best BBQ "bark" I have ever had. Can't wait to try the sausage next time, and maybe some chicken? Bravo guys - fantastic!
