    HORRIBLE OWNERS
My husband and I took my son in to play. I was served by a grumpy middle aged couple (who I later found out to be the owners). My son is 3, and whenever we drive by this horrible place he is so excited with the castle, the blue water, and the shoe. We decided to stop by to play a course of mini golf. I was greeted politely by the female owner, and I just paid for my husband and I. The male owner just threw two adult golf clubs and two balls on the counter. I asked if my son could have a putter and a ball, but I was told "if he plays, he pays.".. what?? I am going to pay about $7(!!?) for my 3 year old to play 2 holes? Most places either give a putter and ball, with a paying adult, or offer a really cheap rate. My husband spoke up and said well, please switch my putter to one for my son, but then we were told "players only on the course". How unreasonable Like there was no one there
I ended up just paying for my son, and I was wrong. He played one hole, not two. "NO REFUND" signs are everywhere, so I didn't bother.
Then we went and played in the arcade. The girl working in there was really sweet, but I felt bad for her as half the games needed to be fixed. The male owner stormed in the games room, just as my son was running to a game, all excited. He snapped at my son not to run. I get that children should not be running inside, and I was just about to speak to my son about this. DO NOT parent my child for me, and if you feel that you must say something, speak kindly to children. Don't snap at someone else's (especially a customers???) child.
We regret even spending a cent here. Will never support a business that treats paying customers this way.

    I wish I could give 0 stars!!
The owner is actually extremely rude to both employees and customers. Literally called me and my family "the most confusing situation he's ever had to deal with" simply because we didn't understand how the groups work (like for the pricing) and then barked at the employee to "deal with us because he's done". Shocking experience and we ended up leaving due to this man's behaviour. I've tried to post this to trip advisor multiple times and it seems like it always gets blocked.
I'm happy that most other people have had fun, but he was shockingly rude and unprofessional to my family because HE didn't explain something clearly. Oh well. We won't be coming back here, and it's funny because we were a group of about 16, and would have easily spent $100 (golf, boats, treats), and we live in Parksville so if we had liked it we definitely would have came back and spent a comparable amount.
I am really angry about how we were treated, this was a horrible experience for me and my family. I don't know how this place has a 4 star rating.
He will just try to take your money and be rude to you! Beware!!

I used to love coming here as a child, when it was my turn to take my own children here I was left really shocked at what I saw. Watched the same Italian owner (from when I was a child), literally harassing the young female who was working, yelling at her for some reason (think she wasn't feeling well?). I watched the poor girl go bright red, and was instantly furious. There are families everywhere, why are you yelling and acting in such an uncivilized manner? Later, my son lost his golf ball in the water, so I went back with him to get one. The same unfriendly man just shoved a ball at my son in disgust, which wasn't the correct colour (we already had a yellow one) so my son spoke up and the man snapped at him and snatched the ball back. I will literally never come back here, so sad to see what once was a happy establishment go so downhill. I feel so sorry for any person who has to work there, this man is a complete clown and has no idea what customer service means.

Road trip destination since my childhood. 2 well-maintained courses, bumper boats and arcade, right on the main drag in Parksville. Good amount of free parking, cafe on-site, campground and hotel adjacent. You can easily spend an entire day here.
Would be a 5 star but:
    - summer is crazy busy and the off-season is under-staffed
    - at least a third of the arcade games are out of order, no matter when we go
Still, worth the stop just for the golf.

I wish parents could be allowed to hold their younger children on the bumper boats. I'd be happy to sign some sort of waiver. It's cool that they have toddler boats available, but it would have been fun to do something all together.

It's quite busy. This may just be me being "old" but we had to wait behind a group of 10 kids in one group playing mini golf It took forever. It would be better if they limit the group sizes more to speed things up. We played both mini golf courses and when we did the second one not being stuck behind a giant group it was much more enjoyable. It also would be nice if they served cafe food; sandwiches, burgers, etc. We decided to go offsite for food since the selection was too small.

We loved this place so much 4 years ago it was a priority on our return visit. 2 different mini golf courses, super fun bumper boats (great to cool off after golfing! But be ready for a wait), and yummy ice cream. Patio with shade umbrellas to stay cool.

Love golfing here. We usually try to go couple times a year. Fabulous setting for mini golf and popcorn! Really cool bumper boats and bumper boats for toddlers now, too! You are going to get wet - be prepared.

Minig golf courses itself are not very creative, but the place itself has a great 90s vibe!

Great mini golf and the bumper boats are so much fun!! Only downside is that it can get too busy in the summer, so there's a lot of waiting around at times.

Grounds and washrooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Only little negative is, that the sites were very close to eachother. But as we had lovely neighbors this was ok. If you can, try to get a site next to the sea. This view is lovely.

Love this place, stay at the RV park several times each year. Spots are not big but the place is maintained well and the high bank waterfront setting is perfect. 10 minute walk on the beach to main boardwalk.
