Garbage store and staff we were the only 2 customers in the store and yes I’m a bit darker then the average person .so the lady behind the counter decides to tail me around the store and totally leaves my white crew mate alone .WOW I’m never shopping at this dump again

They have always had the gear that I need. The staff have always helped me find what I am looking for. I had to return a pair of workbooks (manufacturer defect) and they made the whole process absolutely painless.

I bought rainwear from here. It leaked immediately. Took it back right away in the hope they would replace it right away. Ono told me they would need to ship it away for inspection to see what the problem was. Quite the joke, I thought. I ended up keeping it and fixing it myself. Their prices are questionable. Do yourself a favor, compare prices with Mark's or other stores. You might get a better deal. They watch you like a hawk in there. Almost like you're being stalked. Guess shop lifters like this store. Not too crazy about the people behind the till, a tad bit rude. I gave this Ono store 3 stars, but even that's being generous.

Not sure where the comments regarding rude staff are coming from. Staff is always super friendly and helpful when I have been there. Great selection and inexpensive safety glasses which I am able to buy in bulk which I appreciate.

Worst service ever we have not been here for a couple years and thought we would keep our money in town and tried again NOPE again very unhappy with service will not be back!!! If I could take the star back I would but only way could post this Do Not Go Here !make the drive to port alberni of Courtenay.

Been buying from ONO for 15+ years and have always had excellent service, also knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. If you read a bad review it's probably from a competitor.
