I went there on the Canada Day weekend with a friend. It was my 1st time there. Always pass by, but never been inside. I always thought it was horse racing only. I ended up there because my friend wanted to go there for lunch. He took me to one spot inside Woodbine and I saw the prices on the menu, I was floored. The prices are expensive. I ordered a seafood (lobster and shrimp) dish with rice. The lobster was small. The meal tasted good but it wasn't worth the price. Would I go back to that restaurant- NOPE!
After lunch we walked around. Never seen so many slot machines in my life and senior citizens playing them. It was a sight.😆😆😆😆
Anyway, we went upstairs and this is where people place there bets on the races. I watched one race and it was fun to watch. I placed no bets as I'm not a gambler.
Shocked to so many people at Casino Woodbine.
By the way, the parking situation is insane. I couldn't tell you what time to get there if you want a decent place to park. Just be prepared to walk.
If you're interested in playing slots and watching horse racing, then this place is for you. Not my cup of tea.
Not bad if you got some money to blow. You win some, you lose some. Machines need volume buttons. Sometimes there's no sound. Gotta have sound, it's part of the fun.
A good place to try some slot machines. Table game is currently on the upper level. This place is very crowded. Parking constructing is ongoing. It is hard to find a parking spot near the main gate. Park far from the gate and take a walk or hope on the shuttle bus. Enjoy
Enjoyed some slots, great variety. Food options limited late night and some staff didn't know what was open or not. A good night though, thanks
Casino felt old-fashioned I didn't feel that it was a good environment in there; I felt the people little sketchy around me. If you ever won A jackpot it will take you a while to get out because it's a long walk to your car best bet is to ask for security To walk you to your car. Casino used to be really good but it's gone down hill since the re-opening If you want a good place to gamble go to It's sister location in Pickering casino They're run by the same company but the new casinos are always a lot better and lots of space
Usually when I visit Toronto second day I’m in woodbine casino with brothers and cousins enjoying my vacation I like this place 👍
CASINO RE-OPENING - Staff was totally disorganized. Stood outside for 30 minutes before we were told we could enter with our reservation. Lost play time. Maybe a good thing. Few slots to play, poor selection and saw no one winning(machines are tighter than a drum). Forget it if you thing your favorite slots are operating. NOT WORTH GOING until they open up fully!
Guys save your money and stay home. Woodbine is only operating like 40 slots and you probably won't get to play your go to slots. The machines rarely hit plus there are no drinks to drink so you'll be thirsty for 2 hours. Stay home or just gamble among family and friends.
I deposited $100 dollar on machine and left for bit then decided to check my card because it was close on service and not much people on that area, when I got back it was out! I called and talked to two attendant about it that was there and they didn't care doing anything about that matter.(didn't respond to it) I'm Filipino and I knew they should have recordings for those occasions. Am I right?
A rather disappointing experience. Although it offers a wide range of table games and slots, the upper floors have poor interior design and decoration. Looks more like a buffet restaurant than a stylish casino.
I went with my boyfriend for my birthday. We played in the slots, we were there for about 3-4 hours. It was our first time and the machines were tricky but you just insert bills and it will print you out vouchers of money that you can redeem for actual cash. The drinks are really good but they could have more food with different options. That's why I'm giving them 4 stars. Other than that, the customer service is good and the environment is really fun and entertaining. Would definitely go again :)
Great to go just for fun. Got a coupon from a festival and this is the only reason why we went. Otherwise its sad to see how many people are addicted to this place. Not Good
Really big track. Didn't go for slots or horse racing but went for the 5k foam glow run. Was really cool event for a small price. Sold food and had a after party afterwards. Used the washroom indoors and by just walking in was enough for all of us want to come back just to do the slots! If it wasn't for this event I wouldn't have ever gone there. Glad they held it.
Of all OLG locations, the dining area at Mohawk is in my opinion the worst one. Over the past year, we have eaten at least 5 times for dinner and each time there was a problem. Food was cold. Veggies were either over cooked or under cooked. Sometimes no veggies at all. Over priced for what you get. Other people must feel the same way. Dinner hours are never busy.
Slots and horse racing not far from Toronto. Free outdoor parking with a shuttle from the lot to the casino for anyone who doesn't want to walk. TTC (bus) comes right near the front door of the venue. The venue is a bit older. The lower cost slot machines are often very busy and it can be difficult at peak times, like Saturday night, to get two machines side by side if coming with friends and hoping to sit together. They offer different food options from fast food, to sit down, to buffet. The buffet is somewhat smaller than most casino's so check out what they are offering that day before you commit.
Very disappointing . The machines are way too tight. One should get more credits to enjoy their time there.
Not enjoyable
Beautiful inside, mostly slots. Love the building overall. The crowd as expected can be a little depressing in the daytime, but nights are plenty of fun!
Entertaining, relaxing, very well decorated with variety machines , with couple of hundreds you feel different world that never forget , nice to try and visit with lots of oxygen
Had lunch buffet at Post Parade dining room. Good quality food. The windows seats allow an overview of the entire racetrack and TV at the table. Betting only cost as low as $2. Not a bad economic event beside going to a ball game.
Great slots. Good wins. Table games. Crowded. Busy always.
