I came here with my friends at 9pm..the restaurant closes at 9:30pm. i was looking over my menu and the lady waitress came over and said how they are closing soon so order fast. I didnt even get 2 minutes to look over. Then while we were eating she was pacing back and forth. We left so uncomfortable. After one of my friend just finishd eating..she came over right away to ask if she was done. Then she bought the bill without us asking. We wanted to split the bill. We felt pressured to eat fast, wash our hands, and pay the bills. After we came ..at least 3 groups came lol. She made us feel so uncomfortable. No customer service.
good food at reasonable price. Not a high end restaurant. Interiors could be better lit.
The place is not very clean. For instance there was cleaning (dusting) going on at one side of the dining hall when the buffet was going on causing dust to fly all around. Food is not totally authentic either. The chilly idly had tomato sauce in it.
It's ok place to dinning in but prices little high and foods ok but idly is great
Very slow service
Not a great restaurant. Being a South Indian I didn’t like the taste. Especially chutneys are really bad. They should improve on the quality of food and ambience. The quality of food has lot of room to improve.
Nice South Indian restaurant with a whole lot of vegetarian options. Check out for the roast dosa and onion utthapam. South Indian coffee is a must if you visit this place. Would definitely recommend it to all vegetarians 😊
Despite Scarborough's diverse selection of Indian restaurants, its not that easy to find a consistent SI breakfast.
Niglris wins for me for its dosas, idly, uthapam, and idly items.
They are consistently good.
Best All You Can Eat South Indian Restaurant I've been to in a while. Amazing Dosa, a bit crowed but worth the wait.
Everything about coming here is marvelous. The decor, the sound scapes and of course the food were beyond expectations. Highly recommend
Went there on recommendation of a friend. NOT disappointed. Food is very good, especially their "Sambhar" was very good. It's a South Indian style vegetarian restaurant. If you are looking for a vegetarian meal and live around Markham road area, this is a good restaurant to go to. They have buffet on the weekends (not sure if everyday), I found variety of items on the buffet quite satisfactory. Tastes authentic, prices are very reasonable.
