We have been to this location a handful of times and only once was the experience and service acceptable. The wait staff for our table consistently forgot non alcoholic drink orders or would serve someone who ordered after us first. On at least 3 occasions we had to go to the front to ask about our bill after we had sat around for 25 minutes waiting for it. The wait staff is always seems to be rushing customers to leave. The food is only of average quality and the sushi is poorly rolled. The staff always get in the way when you are in the buffet area and can't be bothered with common courtesy by using words such as "Excuse me". We will not be back and will continue to discourage people from this location.

At this location the food is always fresh and is always refilled on a regular basis. I have never been to another establishment where the staff is always extremely friendly, kind, courteous and actually happy to be employed there. The management is 100% professional and actually cares about its patrons. The management actually goes around around to the tables with their business card asked how everything is doing and if there's any feedback or any comments or concerns to contact them at any time. It's little things like that that will absolutely make me be a repeat customer. It shows that they want your business and that it is much appreciated. As far as the pricing goes they are a bit expensive. Especially on the weekends. So if you're not a fan of seafood and meat it's definitely not worth the price to go on the weekend. The restaurant itself is very clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming and they will do their best to try to accommodate any needs or requests that you may have. I would definitely recommend this place. It would be nice if they offered coupons from time to time like some of their competitors do.

Smaller than usual selection. Server at roast beef table this location bad tempered and uncooperative. ALWAYS has his back turned takes his time to serve and behaves like customers bother him. Treats males better than females.
In general food is well prepared and tasty but not imaginative this time. Usually something new whenever we go but not this time. Looked like they were trying to cut back on expenses?response / report this review -

This location was updated a couple of years ago. It is a very nice option for groups. There is something for every taste out there. Friendly staff and the food selection is always great.

We were three couples meeting for the lunch buffet at our annual reunion since retiring. As usual, the place was perfect and the buffet was plentiful and excellent. The service by our table waiter Terry was very cordial and efficient beyond reproach. Of course, we highly recommend it, the delicious food and the personal service. We'll be back next year or before! Thanks

Great food and service. Just wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options. My only complaint is, I didn't like how dirty the cutlery was that I had to ask for new cutlery which also came back not very clean.

Excellent warm crab legs howeverthe longer you stay you realize how overly salty the dishes aresalt, more salt and probably road salt is added to each dish. They do everything possible to ruin the "all you can eat" price and enjoyment by adding far too much salt to ruin the experience. These are professional chefs I hopetherefore too much salt is deliberate. The soup was the saltiest. Best save your money by ordering Chinese from another restaurant and telling them up front "no salt". We won't be returning until I have altzimers.

My husband and I got married at the Mandarin Pickering, and honestly, Terry the server was phenomenal cannot say enough good things about him, and Francis the Owner was awesome!

My partner and I tried both the lunch and dinner dine-in options.
Dinner not worth it unless you go for the crab legs. Almost double the pricing for dinner. Dinner Menu options are the same as lunch menu options.
Service: Very good. Waiter and waitresses check-in with customers frequently and are friendly.
Environment/Atmosphere: Same as any other mandarin or buffet restaurant. Clean washrooms.
Overall: Pretty good. Would return again.response / report this review
