The Alberta Human Rights Commission is coming on Sept 26 to host a Public Workshop in Fort McMurray! The full-day workshop provides information on: • Human Rights legislation • Duty to Accommodate • Harassment in the Workplace • Strategies for preventing harassment in the workplace.

The MCA is announcing a revamp of their tutoring program for students! ELLA provides in-school assistance to students who are English Language Learners. Our coordinators work closely with students to build these skills and their confidence.

How to register: (1) Complete an online registration form (www.mcawb.org/ella) (2) MCA will contact your child's teacher for a student evaluation (3) If eligible, and space allows, your child will be enrolled into the program

World Meets in Wood Buffalo 2018 - Alberta Culture Days is coming September 30th, from 2-5PM at the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts! This event is free to attend with some multicultural snacks available for cash purchase! Proceeds go towards the United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo 2018 Fundraiser!
