HOPE is the Mother of all Miracles! HELP us create this Miracle. Most of you know that Japna is a little gymnast and I can't forget the sparkle in her eyes while receiving her 2nd year-end trophy just few days ago (she didn't let go of it for 2 days,even took it to school). Now it breaks my heart to try to find ways to break this devasting news to her, of her Gym shutting down! 😪 And I can't even imagine the feeling of all those girls who have been putting their sweat and blood into years of competitive training. HELP SAVE THE DREAM of these hardworking girlswho might be our future Olympian! This is our last Hope to save it.

They say “Life is the art of drawing without an eraser” much like painting. In life you can repaint your canvas as many times as you like.
This 'Negative Painting' was my first canvas painting, as it has two other paintings hidden underneath. They could not be erased, I was so frustrated that I let go of the brushes and created these abstract flowers overtop using my fingers.

There are various ways to leave this world, but only one to be bornthrough a MOTHER. . However giving birth is only one part, the whole life of a mother/women is of nurturing. The monumental responsibility of raising not just a conscious human being but a whole next generation calls on women. Just few of the #crochet hats I made to date. . How I learned? Just Googled!.. and opened this whole new world of creativity and #therapy for myself! Making Hats/beanies is still the easiest & most favorite crochet projects for me as from them began #mycrochetjourney - Could never find a perfect hat for myself..too bigtoo small.. not pretty enough..not my style, etc (although still haven't found my style is a whole different story, kinda concluded that my head is not made for hats! 😆). Then, I decided to try to make one myself! . 'Lost Art?' Crocheting and #knitting are often categorized as a 'Lost Art” mainly because this skill is no longer inherited! Since childhood, beautiful #doilies were (and still are) a common site in every Indian home for me. Even then it never occurred to me to acquire this skill from my mom. In fact, I never thought about learning it till I became mom myself. In this fast-paced world, buying something is only a click away. But ironically, it is this same fast-paced internet world, that has brought a new life to this #LostArt .Where crochet can not only be learned easily through #YouTube videos, abundantly available free patterns, #blogs etc. But sharing your ideas and selling your #creations globally, is just a click away as well!
