Dentist was good, made sure I was comfortable. Any time I was feeling more pain, she gave me another small freezing to help. Explained to me that the curvature or valleys of my teeth are deeper than others and are slightly more prone to cavities or fillings.

If you reschedule often due to sleep or sickness, they will grill you and be resistant to rescheduling. First, she says to get tested and then call back, and when I said I prefer not to do that, she settles on "When you get things settled/sorted out, please call back if you still want to reschedule"

These are fair things to say, yet it should not be this much of a fight to reschedule an appointment that is 12 days away, plenty of time before the mandatory 48 hours.

This dentist office is so accommodating, helpful, friendly, and really respect their patients. If my son looked at all uncomfortable during his filling they would stop and give him a break. Very kind atmosphere and they really know how to keep kids happy and comfortable.
    Thank you Monarch Dental Staff

They helped get me in during the beginning of the pandemic to help me out with a dental emergency. Now I go to them as my regular dentist because of the expertise and professionalism of the Doctor. As well as the friendliness and organization of the secretaries.

I've visited Monarch Dentistry several times in the past few months. At the height of the first wave, I was panicked by a filling that fell out- fortunately, the dentist was open for emergencies and was able to see me very quickly, which lessened my worries.

The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, and although the procedures haven't always been comfortable, they have kept me at ease with light-hearted conversation and reassurance.

I can't say I look forward to returning, but feel relieved knowing that my dental care is in good hands!

I went to this clinic in May of 2017 . I needed a dentist nearby and I have just moved to the area . The dentist did the cleaning as they do not yet have a hygienist . While doing the cleaning, which was not like any I've had in the past , very simple and quick she mentioned I needed two fillings . I though this was a bit odd as I had been to my previous dentist 6 months earlier . She said they were large and been there a while . When receiving the two fillings she was causing me terrible pain . When the fillings were being done the anesthetic was insufficient . She kept saying she was almost finished and proceeded anyway . She was also very heavy handed with the clamps she put round the teeth that needed the fillings. Once the freezing wore off I was in excruciating pain . I returned and Dr. Laith , the owner of the clinic ,was in to check things out . He tried to file down the new fillings to no success . They also re-took x-rays and suggested I may need a root canal . I also agreed to meet him at a Mississauga dental clinic run by his sister . He wasn't there when I arrived and they looked puzzled .They got hold of him. He explained it was his daughters graduation and could not see me at the time we had arranged . At this point I sought out another dentist . He said he saw nothing wrong with the roots after taking x-rays , suggested I see Dr Pike a root canal guy . I did that and he also informed me that no root canal was needed . It appears what I have is some kind of tissue damage . I have been taking pain killers since May ( 6 months ) trying to get to the bottom of the pain associated directly around the two areas where the fillings were done . Been to my family doctor three times . Still popping pills every 4 hours . I have been having normal regular dental work for over 50 years and never had anything like this before . She had an attitude , not overly friendly and brutally heavy handed for the pain she caused . Cant believe she was allowed to graduate dentistry . You can only imagine how truly angry I am over this experience . Too bad as they were just up the street form my new residence .

I was squeezed in for an urgent assessment appointment as I was in quite a bit of pain and I only had a few days before I had to travel for a family emergency. Both the receptionist and the dentist were dismissive. The receptionist (whom I think is also a dental assistant as she took a shoddy x-ray) made a distasteful comment about how "they have dentists over there." The dentist offered no prescriptions (antibiotics or painkillers) nor accommodation for the root canal she determined was necessary after all of 5 minutes of judging my medical history. Both receptionist and dentist told me to find someone else. So I did: Dr. Tao is incredible, gentle, and extremely competent. Her office took me in on very short notice. I would recommend her highly.
As for this place, the unprofessionalism and lack of thorough and competent care means that you would be better off with literally anyone else.
