Mike's Reel Repair is now my go to reel tech. I've sent several Ambassadeur rounds reels up there and all have come back exactly how I wanted them. I told them on the order form I want my reels to cast a mile and spool spin perputal and they do. My last 2 a Ambassaduer 4000 Elite Tournments Addition was broke and dirty the other a Okuma both these reels came back tricked and tuned and both are so smooth.

I was looking for Shimano JDM parts. It is a pain to find them as the parts diagram with the reel is in Japanese. Linda from Mike's Reel Repair was the only person that responded to my inquiries to several reel repair sites. Not only did she respond, she solved the problem and found the parts. Mike's and Linda are AWESOME in my book!

I ordered an item online from Mikes Reel Repair in early June, which we needed for our camping trip at the end of June. The item was on back order and Mikes Reel Repair went above and beyond to get the part and ship it to us in time. They emailed regularly and even called to make sure we still wanted it once they got it in stock. Great great service.

Placed an order on the 9th of may 2017 , payment was taken on the same day. Received an email that said my order status was pending and has continued to say that until the 30th of may . Have emailed them several times for no response , and have also phoned several times for no answer. This is pretty poor service in my book it would only take about 30 seconds to respond via email to let me know whats going on.
I Think I will be forced to recall my money via my bank

After seeing this Mike got in touch with me via email and mentioned he was having phone and email issues.
He quickly offered to fix the problem and a new items was sent with tracking and I received it a small time later .
Very pleased with the end result and Mike for resolving the problem

Bought a broken Okuma T100 reel on eBay and after calling several shops, came across Mike's Reel Repair. Mike was the only guy able to come up with the missing drive shaft I needed. The reel now works perfectly, and all it took was a call to speak with Mike. Can't wait to go fishing and put this reel to the test. Next time I need any reel parts, I won't wast the time calling other places, just Mike. Thanks again for all the help and the quick response.

These guys are awesome!!! Knowledgeable staff from front to back, quick to get back to you with answers and wait times. Service done to my reels was above what I expected and perform better then new!!! I would highly recommend taking all your reels in and see them, they can even super tune your reels with high quality parts. It's a small family owned and run local business who are the best in the game.

I ordered 3 small parts: ALL of them where unusable. I ordered from Switzerland (Europe). Parts did cost at about US$ 5.- and the shipping was US$ 20.-. I ordered all parts exactly for the right reel! First part the nut was too high: didn't fit!!! Second part the nut cap (plastic) was not the right one so it was far away from fitting AND the fixation-clip was even broken out of the box!!! Third thing was: I ordered Three Break Washers and I only got ONE!!! I waited 4 full weeks for the shipment >>> I payed US$ 25.-, waited for 1 month and got at least only unusable rubbish. This is the worst store I ever saw. Highly not recommended!!!
