  I'm going to be honest - I was completely overwhelmed by the idea of finishing our basement - until I sat down with Jeff of Melanson Homes. He literally took all of the stress away, and was friendly, well priced, and professional. We are absolutely THRILLED with our new space - thanks to Melanson Homes & Construction. I kept waiting for some sort of surprise or hiccup to pop up along the way - but it didn't. Brad kept everything moving along smoothly. I would highly recommend them ! Seriously - book them now, before they're booked solid!

  Jeff has been awesome to deal with! After a parade of "contractors" that made Mike Tyson look professional and level headed, we gave it one last chance and met with Jeff after seeing his ad on Facebook. When I found out he used to work as a Site Supervisor at a larger builder here in Calgary, I could instantly tell that he understood how hiring a contractor is just as much about customer service as it is the work. Jeff was helpful, and genuine. Most surprisingly, he gave me a quote and while I expected it to be 15% higher than the quote, he stuck to every dime! I didn't have to wait weeks for a quote, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the work. Surprisingly enough, through his contacts his HVAC guy ended up being the same guy that worked on my home when it was being built. They pulled of a miracle from a previous mess up and fixed the existing work that was already done!

  Melanson Homes was the best option for us to finish our basement financially, personally and professionally. Our project was done to impeccable standards and we are so happy with the outcome. For us, it was important to be able to trust a contractor who would do quality work, be on time and follow through as planned. We always knew what to expect, how long it would take and we found his pricing unmatched for the quality we received. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Melanson Homes for any project someone might have and we will keep his information for future work we need completed.
