The ambiance is great with candles, dim lighting, etc. Perfect for a date night or intimate evening out. The menus selection is small, which I like - too much to pick from can be overwhelming. And Sunday 1/2 price wine bottles is great.

Came here for the second time, for my partner’s birthday and sat at the chef’s table - it was absolutely wonderful. What a show to see them work and the food was great. The chef Chris was super kind. Love the fact they change their menu seasonally - highly recommend the shareable plates.

This is my first time in marben. I like the decors and the atmosphere in this restaurant a lot. Their brunch are very yummy as well. Not too cheap, kinda in a higher price range. If you want something fancy but not too fancy, I recommend this place

Great brunch for a shockingly fair price! Really high quality ingredients and great ambiance. Amazing and really friendly service also.

A hidden gem in King West that doesn't often have a wait or lineup. I have personally always had great food, drinks and service. This is my "go to" when I want nice food, drinks and atmosphere, especially at the last minute.

Food was delicious and well balanced. Well thought out sauces for each dish. Dessert was mediocre - butter tart crust was over cooked. Farm fresh, locally sourced vegetables and meet (which I appreciate). Overall above average and a good place to check out for brunch or dinner.

Food was delicious, tried some of their brunch menu. But we were placed in the back and the curtain was closed off; it felt secluded and kind of killed the vibe. Servers were really friendly and helpful but fairly slow.

First time going and it was by far the worst dining experience I've had in a really long time. Server was very sassy and not very friendly. The manager however was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the 20oz family steak, hangar steak, risotto, and the deep fried cauliflower. The food was SUPER salty. The cauliflower was on the salty side but was passable, but the hangar steak with the fries and the risotto were extremely salty to the point where none of us could eat it. Furthermore, the hangar steak was to be cooked medium rare, but was closer to a blue steak when we received it and when asked about it the server said there were only two ways to cook that particular type of beef (either the way we got it or well done which comes out extremely chewy. Not sure why they even asked us how we wanted it to be cooked). The 20oz family steak took over an hour to be served after the hangar steak and risotto and sections of the meat were very salty. The green beans that came on the side was also cold as if it was left out for a long time (probably waiting for the steak to be cooked). I spoke with the manager and he took the feedback very well and took the hangar steak and risotto off our bill. Overall, it was a very bad experience, but the manager was understanding. Hope this was just a one time mishap for them.

My favorite things about this restaurant are the fun, delicious and very busy brunches, and the super romantic half price wine Sunday evenings. Also, the chef's pass is always a good idea to see the cooks in action!
Good to know: they always have an option for every dietary restriction or allergies, the kitchen will go off the menu anytime to make something work for you!response / report this review -

Went here for brunch with my girlfriends. The food was really wonderful and the service was great. Nice atmosphere. Plus they gave me almond milk when I asked. Huge plus for that as some places don't carry anything but milk.

Easily the best service and food I've had out in a long time. It was everything I wanted out of dinner service: prompt service that took my desires into account, some of the best risotto I've ever had, and gorgeously plated dessert that they customized for me. I wish I could keep this place to myself so I always have a table, but they're so good that I want everyone to experience something like that.
