Geeat store but horribly difficult to get to with how the parkade has been fenced in. There are stairwells that have exit signs, but the actual exit is boarded over, you have to swipe in and walk up to the second floor to access your car on the first floor. The parkade is not easily accessible and I would be hard pressed to figure out wheelchair accessibility within it. If you can't get parking on the street it would be better to forego trying to figure out the mess of the parkade.

Amazing customer service from staff on the floor as well as staff at the till. Security guard was a huge help too.

Decent products, however the bike maintenance staff don't know a thing about fixing bikes.

I have used their service in a total of 4 times. The first three were an attempt to fix my bike that was suffering from a loose bottom bracket. The fourth was to install a new seat post.

Regarding the loose bottom they never ended up fixing it as i had to go to the wrench to teach me what was wrong. Mec did end up refunding me though.

As for the seat post, i went in thinking i would have a look at some cheep taller posts for my 10 speed. One employee offered to help and install it. I asked "don't you want to dry fit it and save yourself a bit of trouble?" He said "nah it will fit". 30 minuets later he had it on and guess what.. it didn't fit.

Go to the wrench and learn how to fix your own bike, mec's staff will most likely make it worse.

Great quality products. Reasonably price. Store a bit small. Isles between the shelves a bit tight. Parking is a big problem. Just take the bus or bike.
